I’ve wanted another for a while as my daughter will be 3 soon but with hospitals filling up I worry hard that if something happens while I’m pregnant I’m not going to be helped.

I dated him for 4 months. I miss him, but i felt devalued and deprived of the basic rights in a relationship. He insists that we give it another try. Has anyone attempted going outside of the traditional Christmas mains and had their experiment appreciated or welcomed? Turkey so close to thanksgiving again seems like a drag. What's your go to Christmas main that people love?
I've been thinking about how saddening and exhausting the conversations will be for halo fans after their more 'casual' friends have moved on in the new year - pleading them to give it another go months later when it actually becomes the full experience. Whilst I'm confident the campaign will be incredible and I know the gunplay is smooth as butter, the reality is millions of new prospective Halo players will enjoy it but then they'll realise how shallow the rest of the offer is and they'll have moved on within a few weeks, so the game won't get to reach it's potential.
After the long wait and delays to make sure they get the launch right, so many of the best things about Halo are nowhere to be found with little reassurance about if or when they'll be coming. The things we love most, the majority of players won't ever get to experience it because the playerbase will have dropped off before they're available, and it's such a shame.
Here's some (subjective!) key staples of Halo that we'd love to be exposing our unfamiliar friends to when they come to see what Infinite has to offer on launch:
- Co-op Campaign
- Forge, making our own unique maps (and modes to match)
- Custom lobbies to try out our wacky new community forge maps and modes (Duck hunt, jenga towers, tower of power, infection variants (Fat kid!), cat & mouse, RACES and more)
- Key game modes like SWAT, snipers, grifball, 2v2, FFA, Fiesta, Action sack and others I'm forgetting
- Being able to choose specifically which mode you actually play
- Broad customisation options with available choices for armours and colours
- Using theatre mode to accurately rewatch those amazing plays you made (try theatre, it's awful!)
And smaller things like vetoing, rotating cameras in death cams, detailed combat records and so much more that I'm probably forgetting...
The realisation that the vast majority of players won't ever experience any of this is devastating. As mentioned, they'll enjoy the campaign and the gunplay of PVP for a few weeks, but most players won't be hanging around because the multiplayer experience we have is tied up with:
- Really limited selection game modes and no choice over which you play (it can take 10 games before you get a slayer match you want)
- Predatory, aggressive monetisation (even with false advertising!) - next to no customisation options on launch and requirements to unlock the few free options available are unreasonable, also the paid options onl
As I mentioned in the title, my car was recently totaled by another driver, and I need to decide how to move forward. As you're probably aware, car prices (both used and new) are through the roof right now, and I really hate the idea of throwing money away on a car. It's also been a long-term goal of mine to try to life a less car-dependent lifestyle, which would entail biking and using public transit. How feasible and safe would this be in St. Louis? I know St. Louis has plenty of dense and walkable neighborhoods, but traveling between them seems like a challenge due to the lack of protected bike lanes and the speeding that tends to occur along the arteries like Kingshighway, Grand, etc. Obviously I'd like to live a less car-oriented existence, but I don't want to get run over by a car in the process.
Anyway -- would regular biking be a feasible (and safe) option in St. Louis, or should I suck it up and buy another car?
