A list of puns related to "Agave Attenuata"
My friend has a massive agave plant and is letting me take an entire head off the back side of his plant. What is the best way to clip the head and should I plant it immediately in soil or let it harden and. Dry out and then plant it? Thank you very much. He also has a jade plant heβs letting me take a big clipping off but from what I understand (thanks to this sub) theyβre practically indestructible. Thanks Iβm advance!!
Hello, I've recently purchased a beautiful agave attenuata, I believe it is a foxtail, and I would like to place it in a pot with some other succulents that will compliment its beauty and like similar light levels and water. It's around 18 inches tall with about an 8 inch stem. I think it would look lovely with another plant or two tucked under its leaves next to its stem, but I'm afraid of overcrowding it. I don't have a pot for it yet, I understand that it's roots don't reach too deep so I was thinking something on the shallow side, it's easily a foot wide. Any help would be appreciated.
I've had her since last August, when I repotted a cutting I was given (with a mix of cacti soil + sand).
She spent the whole winter in a green house with direct sun, water once every month (even every 1,5 month). I decided to get her out a few weeks ago given that temperatures are now ca. 20 celsius (68 F), and watered her once.
Some of the leaves at the base are turning yellow; I'm wondering if this a sign of too much, or not enough (I'd vouch for the former). Besides, the leaves seem a bit lighter than what they used to be; and they show some damage signs (maybe insects eating them? We're in the country).
Any ideas/tips? Thanks!
