I ask this because I've, personally, not been able to make Ferdinand Von Aegir work as a good unit for me but I've looked at people's tier lists and almost everybody rates him as a A or high B. Am I just using him wrong?
P.S. The class progression I have for him is this: Soldier -> Cavalier -> Paladin -> Holy Knight.
Seems like any one of these would be a 6-8 week wait from Schiit. But I am looking for a new amplifier for my speaker setup. My speakers are the Monitor Audio Silver 100. I do like the Ragnarok as it is a combo speaker and headphone amp. With any of them I would need a DAC. However with the Aegir and Vidar I could use my Bifrost II as the DAC and Valhalla II as both the headphone amp and preamp in the speaker amp. The only downside to that is no remote for volume control. What would you do? I have a Sony 4K TV and 4K BDP, Marantz CD6006 CD player, and Node 2i streamer as my sources.

Well, is there a way to do it? A good friend leant me a pair of Aegirs. Hoping to try them with my Maggie LRS and Klipsch RP8000F setups.
I have the two setups but neither have XLR preouts. I tried a pair of RCA to XLR converter cables but didn’t get any sound.
