A list of puns related to "Access To Information"
Life in the D.C. tech policy world is an adventureβwith daily developments οΌ revelations. Each topic has multiple possible paths forwardβfrom net neutrality in the Congress οΌ federal courts to bolstering the knowledge resource of Congress (think about the Senate hearing with Mark Zuckerberg). Then there is President Trumpβs FY20 budget and its relevance or irrelevance. So whatβs really important οΌ just noise on twitter or cable news? How to make sense of it all? I canβtβnobody canβbut I promise to try my best. Iβve been doing policy for two decadesβwith the American Library Association, Executive Office of the President, and National Academy of Sciences.

I live in Sydney. I'm about to drive to adelaide. I need 6 different apps to plan my drive. The fires app for each state (for emergency alerts that might impact my current location) and the traffic app for each state (to tell me about closed roads).
Each app functions differently and it's not actually easy to find the interstate apps. We need national information apps. It's particularly relevant as a massive fire in Victoria can that's right on the boarder might only appear as a tiny dot on the NSW app, and vice versa.
I want to buy my first EV soon. I've been researching Tesla, but I'm finding a lot of horror stories about Tesla not being willing to work with people on parts and information for repairs. I tend to keep my cars for 15 - 20 years, and I do most of my own repairs, so that would be a serious issue for me.
I know Tesla makes the best EV products... But who provides the best customer support in terms of parts, service information, and software?
Iβm pretty sure that is where they keep the most damning history and artifacts (yet to be seen) that also confirm that this is all bull shit! After reading through many books from great authors like Grant Palmer, D. Quinn, and Fawn Brodie itβs where the secret documents, stones, daggers, and other historical items are kept. Who knows what other fucking items are in there.
Does anyone have any special access? Iβm not talking about doing anything illegal (wink, wink), but Iβd love to see MORE information/items found and copied and shared with the public.
Anybody with me?! :)

Hello,
I made myself a real simple table to be able to compare the price of LPs I have access to at the moment (Broken Coast, Spectrum and Redecan) as a medical patient. Nothing fancy, it just works for me. But when I was over, I kind of wish I could see other LPs I did not have access to.
If anyone would care to help and put in some informations, please get in touch, I'll add you as editor so you can work some magic!
I'm also of course open to other informations I could add to the tables that you'd like to see!
Here's the read only version if you want to get a glimpse of it.
I'm really dissapointed. Maybe you could at least justify the delay of the open beta? What problems do you have in the development of Planetside Arena? Is the game not working yet? I don't understand your communication!
On mobile apologies for formatting.
I work in a call centre that sets up 5day insurance for people who have bought new cars. Occasionally dealers will call us to confirm details or to confirm that we have set the cover up which we are happy to disclose, providing the customer has authorised them to deal. In order for us to check the dealer is authorised we would check the comments and there has to be a specific person's name in comments for them to have authority.
I take a call from a dealer who wants to check that we have finally spelt the customer's name right and to check the customer is insured on the vehicle they are selling.
I will be me.
Dealer will be D
Me "insert greeting"
D "you guys have messed up so many times it's ridiculous. I've asked you 3 times to spell the customer's name right and you keep getting it wrong"
Me "I'm sorry to hear that. (Asks dpa questions" let me check the notes and I'll find out what's going on)
(There are clear comments to say we should only speak to the policy holder and that the dealer is just trying to push a sale through to get their end of month bonus and that we have spoken to the customer who confirmed her name is right)
Me "I'm sorry but it appears you aren't authorised to deal with this policy. Please get the customer to call us to authorise you"
D " well that's stupid I only want to find out the customer's name and what vehicle she is insured on"
Me" unfortunately I cannot give you that information without authority as we would be disclosing our customers personal information"
D "that is ridiculous. It's not breaking spa if your only giving me her name and the car she's insured on"
(Cue 5 minutes of back and forth of her trying to beg me to give her that info, of her insisting it's not really breaking dpa and of me still saying no. We were just going round in circles"
Me" Look I have tried to explain this nicely but I must insist that you call us back as I won't risk my job by disclosing my customers information"
D "put me on to your supervisor"
My supervisor confirmed what I had said but the dealer wasn't having any of it. The dealer is now blocked from contacting us and has been reported to head office.
Tldr dealer begs me to disclose information they are not authorised to access. I say no. My supervisor blocks them from contacting us.
My child was asked by a friend if her father is inactive because her mom βlooked your family up and it said your dad is inactive.β Is this possible? To see βinactiveβ status anywhere? We donβt know this family, theyβre in our stake though.
EDIT - Got my W2 from Best Buy in the mail today. Thanks again everyone!
I worked for Best Buy for 4 years up to last March, when I switched to a new job. I donβt remember my password, nor do I have the Authenticator to access my hr.
Any idea who I need to call? I tried Hr, they sent me to help desk. The help desk said I need to speak with the bridge , but I donβt have nor can I find that number.
Any ideas? Iβm still technically seasonal , I just havenβt worked in a long , long time.
I was adopted from Russia (my now family flew me to my now home to the US a few days after the papers were finalized). My "gotcha day" is reaching 20 years on the 17th and it's been especially itching me to find any information I can regarding my biological family. However, I feel so lost and only have a name and maybe a birth year. I'm understanding of privacy and the changes that happened, but I just feel like it's something I've wanted to get some sign of information. I have no clue any ways to start especially given the completely different country and language barrier. I don't feel like I'm missing this entirely like a hole in my chest, but I feel like it's something that could help give some more closure at the least. I've always felt admirable of my biological mom to make a such brave decision that gave me such a great real life. I just feel like there's a whole world out there I'm completely detached from.
I just want to access a list
