A list of puns related to "Aalborg University"
Hi everybody, Next semester (sep. 2021) I will start my Msc Risk and Safety Management at Aalborg University (AAU). Is there anybody who is doing the same program or is there someone who is also starting this program in September 2021? I would like to get in touch with you to meet some people in advance. Thanks!
So basically, I am in my final year of studies and I'd really like to get to Aalborg university. I most likely meet the admission requirements when it comes to my math and physics skills. The problem I have is that I am confused on another level on how to actually apply. More precisely, about all the various, different (and seemingly similar) enclosures that are needed. A transcript, grade sheets, verification form, curricula, it's all really confusing for me and I've never been good at getting the required documents, it's a nightmare for me.
The biggest problems I have is that I have no clue what these documents are, in addition to that, my teachers also have no clue and some of them hear the word "transcript" for the first time! I also tried contacting Aalborg university directly, but all I got was a link to their site on how to apply, which wasn't very helpful. Yes, it is stated what documents I need, but there is no information on what these documents even are, how they look like, nor if there are any samples.
Therefore, I am here and I'd like to ask for someone for help. You can comment here or dm me and provide me with some help. It could be anything, links to sites which explain it in more detail, or preferably some contact information (like discord) so we could talk about it in more detail there.
I really need some help guys, I don't really have anyone left at this point, I tried asking my family, my school teachers, some of my friends or even my friend's cousin (who works as a judge in Denmark). And yes, I also looked around google, it didn't help me that much either.
PS. If anyone needs to know, I am an polish student in my final year of studies. I don't know if anyone needs to know that, but I feel like telling it is better than not.
Hello reddit!
I want to study Medialogy in Allborg University, starting in the wintersemester. Currently looking for some friends because i want to practise my danish!
Hej alle!
I'm largely interested in cognitive robotics / machine learning based robotics control, and thus applied for an MSc to two universities in the Nordic countries; Lund university for Machine learning, Systems and control MSc, and Aalborg for Robotics. I was admitted to both, so now I have to choose; I'm hoping some of you can help me with this difficult conundrum :)
I hope I'm not asking for too much/detailed stuff, if anyone knows anything, please do help! :) If someone has more direct info, pm me!
Thanks ahead of time!
Has anyone here been a student at Aalborg University in Esbjerg and would like share their experiences?
I've been googling and searching on reddit and I haven't found a whole lot.
What is like to live there as an outsider?
The two reddit comments I've seen that stand out are these:
>Do have in mind that program is in Esbjerg, not Aalborg. It's a satellite campus and as far as I know, rather small. Esbjerg as a city is alright-ish, but very far away from Copenhagen/Aarhus, and it can definitely be boring to spend three years or more there.
>
>Esbjerg can be a rough and not particularly inviting place for a single stranger.
I don't mean to put these here to be rude, it's just a bit alarming.
Also, what is the problem-based learning like? What I've seen online is more about the method in general and many people seem really displeased, while some others seem to love it. Maybe someone here could share how they felt about it in this particular school?
I'm looking at the Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology program if that matters.
Thanks for any replies :) I deciced to post here instead of r/Esbjerg since it only has 111 members.
Hi, i applied to a traineeship in the university of Aalborg, i'm going to be new to the town/culture, and i would like to ask you guys some questions :
- How expensive is life there monthly (including rent and everything)?
- Is it right that Aalborg is easy for international students?
- Can i find rent easily and how much is it?
- What else should i know?
Hi all, my name is Mario and I just finished my Bachelor's Degree in IT Management in Croatia.
I am planning to enroll in the aforementioned Master's Degree (https://www.en.aau.dk/education/master/it-design-and-application-development) and was wondering if anyone can provide any information on the subject.
I contacted the staff of the university many times and haven't received any insight into the syllabus of the programme, other than the academic content I found on the university's website.
Can you tell me anything about it (what are the experiences of other students, is it well organized, is it worth enrolling into, do you learn enough to start working in the field of IT, especially software development, etc...)?
Also, any information regarding the city itself would be useful since I do not know much about Denmark, let alone Aalborg.
All the best!
Mario
Update 4: After reading some more feedback so far, the most wanted features seem be dynamic soundtrack , voice control, cross app tracking and treadmill support. As the day comes to an end here in Denmark(and Sweden), I would like to thank everyone that participated, you have helped us a great deal.

Dear Reddit
We are 7 students currently studying 1st semester of Medialogy at AAU-CPH. Our semester task was to develop an app of our choice and we have decided to go into the mobile sector.
We have asked ourselves a question: ''How can we motivate people to excercise through a cleverly designed app?'' and tried to come up with a solution for that.
Many people nowadays want to start jogging, but they don't have the proper motivation to do so and if they start, the majority quits after 1 week. We have asked people of the age group that uses smartphones the most, what could possibly motivate them. The majority replied with the simple word: Achievements. We have looked into how we could implement achievements into an application that that could help people start jogging and, more importantly, keep them doing it.
We have laid heavy emphasis on the social and competitive aspects. Since we all have these friends that can't wait to put the status on facebook about how are they going to the gym, why not make it an actual feature? We are trying to bring the possibility to share with your friends, and more importantly challenge your friends who might as well also be into jogging to push each other even further and ultimately making everyone not give up jogging.
The gallery that we are presenting here is the demo design of our application called RUN! If you want to share your feedback, feel free to do it in the comments below
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated, so come and do your ''daily good deed''
... keep reading on reddit β‘Hej! :) I am going to start studying my MSc in AAU Campus Copenhagen next semester, Service Systems Design. And would like to ask some questions, if anyone has studied this program, or at AAU CPH in general?
Hi, I've been admitted to Management in the Building Industry at AAU. I'm looking for any details and informations about the programme and university. I'm currently finishing bachelor's in Civil Engineering. This programme was mostly directed towards structural engineering, but we did have a few courses regarding construction management.
Also, I've been reading that getting a student job is quite difficult in Aalborg. I'm actually interested in newspaper delivery job. Should I just apply to budzonen.dk and similar websites or is there a better way to get that job?
Any advice is welcome :)
Thank you.
Hej!
I am currently looking for possible universities for me and stumbled across AAU and their Robotics Bachelor.
The problem is that I can find almost no ratings of the Bachelor / University from students, so I hoped that maybe someone who is currently studiyng there or even better studying robotics there is active in this sub and can recommend it / tell me his experience.
Hi fellow writers and narrative lovers!
I'm currently working on a university project which includes a game, and we need people to play it as part of a test where we look at how gameplay influences a player's perception of narrative in games.
We need a lot of participants, in order to get enough data entries, and I thought the game, but also research into better understanding narrative the medium, might be interesting to some people here. So if you've got approx. 20 minutes of spare time, then it would be immensely helpful if you played our game! :D
The game takes the form of an interactive story (You read some text, get some options, choose an option, have fun, repeat), and runs in your browser. It's possible to take breaks as long as you do not close the tab, though we prefer people playing through the game in one session.
The game can be found at: http://www.drakkashi.com/files/p8/
If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to post. :)
Cheers!
