A list of puns related to "A Game Of Thrones"
People are saying it is a little mistake, I think it's is a Grande.
It's called The Wight Stuff
A thong of ice and fire.
As I sat in the office lunchroom today, the topic of Game of Thrones came up, what with it's impending new season this Sunday. As we were discussing it, I mentioned that I couldn't hear a single bit of Swedish in Nickolaj Waldau's voice. My co-worker retorted that he could hear it quite a bit, and that I was perhaps accustomed to the accent, and thus tuning it out.
I replied, without quite thinking, that it was quite a Stark difference. There was silence between the six of us, followed by groans.
Hey all! I'm writing a play for my third grade class all about healthy habits and it's full of TV parodies. One show is Game of Thrones. For example, one character is Jon Snowpea. Can you guys help me come up with some food or exercise puns for the full title of Danaerys: Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name,Β The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Protector of the Realm, Lady Regent of the Seven Kingdoms,Β Breaker of ChainsΒ andΒ Mother of Dragonsβ. Thanks!!
My sister teaches at a high school for children with learning and behavior disorders, and every year she hosts a skills summer camp.
2015 will be geology-themed, and we need help thinking of a fun name for the camp.
Previous years: 2014 Summer Scenarios: Little Egypt (Egyptian themed) 2013 Summer Scenarios (first year had no kitchy name, but it was zombie-themed)
Potential examples: Stone Throne, Rock Steady, Taken for Granite, etc.
During the live-in camp (boarding school), they'll learn survival/outdoorsmanship skills (fire starting, gardening, canoeing, etc.), and have geologists as guest speakers.
Any high school learning-friendly geology-themed blockbusters would be welcome suggestions, too--but I'll post that for the people over at /r/movies.
Thanks in advance!
Edit: Thanks to everyone who actually gave appropriate suggestions, and high-fives to those who just made rock puns. My sister selected Game of Stones.
I got my cousin a guinea pig for his birthday, and I am looking for a good "pun" name for him. Any suggestions? If it could be Game of Thrones or Harry Potter related, that would be amazing, but I'll take anything.
I was doing some word play on Game of Thrones before we were about to watch it after putting our son down.
"What do you call GoT starring all skeletons? Game of Bones. ...starring tiny bearded men? Game of Gnomes. ...starring Mozart and Beethoven? Game of Tones" And on and on.
Admittedly, not my best work. Nevertheless, my wife, clearly tired of humouring my brilliance, comes out with this:
"What do you call GoT starring you? Game of Groans"
So proud.
While I was reading Game of Thrones, I stopped and closed the book and said to my girlfriend "That's one way of punishing someone. Chain them up and tie you to a horse. Keep up and you're fine. Don't keep up and you're gonna hurt.
She replies (in her best southern draw)
"And they said there was no dragn in it"
Little autocorrect issues helped me drop this bomb on my buddy while we were texting
Me: Do you watch game of thrones?
Him: Nah I don't. I've watched the first few episodes, but that's about Iran
Him: It***
Me: Iraqen you should watch a few more.
Dad asks "What are you doing?", I reply "Watching Game of Thrones." to which he follows up with "Game of Throne? What's that about, a bunch of toilets?"
I finished Season 4 of Breaking Bad last night and I texted my mom (who's seen the whole show) telling her about what I thought of it.
I said, "Yeah, Gus's death was pretty much the most disturbing thing I've ever seen on TV (alongside a certain Game of Thrones scene, but she doesn't watch that...)."
She replied, "Yeah, that whole finale was pretty mind-blowing."
Me and a buddy were talking Game of Thrones and I finished off the convo with "Winter Is Coming". My dad over hearing us talking looked over at me and says "No, did you forget? Winter died last month." (Our neighbor Mrs Winter died recently)
My sister was showing me some pictures of her prom-dress. I said it looked like something out of game of thrones, but she didn't agree.
Me: "Oh well, it's not like I know that much about dresses anyways."
Dad, from behind the wheel: "As long as you know how to UNZIP THEM!!"
I high fived him and my mother and sister looked disgusted.
