I found this randomly yesterday and I felt like transitioning to this after Sankarea since both involve romance with a dead girl. This one is much more ecchi comedy though and there's a harem. And before I knew it, I binged it all in two days and it was such a fun ride. It gets repetitive like the MC getting thrown into the river every morning but I didn't seem to mind it. The cast is just so likeable and I want a season 2 just so we see more hijinks and such with the cast. This only released in 2018 so it's not yet at that point where it's been so long since it released that there's no more hope for a season 2.
The MC is not actually dense and I like how he has a huge ass skill set because he's been possessed by all sorts of ghosts. They did a good job of choosing Yuuki Ono to voice the MC because his goofy recklessness gives me flashbacks to his role as the male MC in Boarding School Juliet. It was cute how he was able to pick up that Yuuna wanted to do the cheek dance with him and just straight up invited her. I'm rooting for Sagiri or Chisaki since I really like their characters but I'm not holding my breath since no way the title girl isn't gonna win this one.
While I definitely like the slice of life ecchi comedy here, they just completely ignored the plot. We don't have any slight idea of who Yuuna is or what her lingering regrets are because she lost her memory. You'd think there would be a time pressure in sending her off become she becomes an evil spirit but nope.
Final word about this, if you like harem ecchi comedy, you'll enjoy this one and this is a good addition to the genre. If only it had a season 2 so we get more of the actual plot. For those who read the manga, what chapter should I start with?
I'm thinking of watching Tokyo Ravens or Strike The Blood next. Maybe one where actual romance happens and there's more sense of plot. Any similar animes to this? Doesn't have to be supernatural. I feel like going on another binge though Strike The Blood is pretty long.
Last one I need to complete my set. Looking for G3/4 condition at least.
