... keep reading on reddit ➡2021 has been a massive year at Chelsea. Tuchel's arrival in early January saw us reach the FA Cup Final, win the CL and be placed 2nd in the table for the period from when he joined until the end of the season (finishing in 4th place in the full season table). We now also end 2021 placed 2nd in the league, with Carabao Cup semis against Spurs and a Round of 16 clash with Lille to look forward to in the early months of 2022. Yet 9 points out of the last 15 available in the league means that despite 2 losses all season, and unbeaten in the last 5 league matches where we have been having a covid- and injury-ravaged blip, we look to be all but out of the title race due to a 10-match win streak from City that has seen them pull away from both us and Liverpool (8 and 9pts respectively).
So with all of that in mind, and heading into a January transfer window where it seems we are likely to only consider a LWB alternative due to Chilwell's season-ending injury, I thought it may be worth considering the squad available, the outgoings and the incomings, and spark some discussion on where the squad ought to be improved to mount an improved title challenge next season or at the very least to keep building and improving long-term.
Mendy and Kepa are both available, Bettinelli will step up as second choice whilst Mendy is at AFCON. No movement in January at GK and unlikely that we see any movement in the summer either. At 27 and 29, Kepa and Mendy respectively are both within the peak age range for goalkeepers. Both being on long-term contracts, with Mendy performing well as starter and Kepa when he fills in, there is no cause for concern.
Azpilicueta, Christensen and Rudiger are all looking less and less likely that they will be Chelsea players in 2022-23. Rudiger is apparently in talks with Real Madrid as the club refuse to offer more than 140k per week, meanwhile Christensen has apparently stalled over the length of the contract (with Barcelona now circling) and Azpi has not yet been offered, though it is thought Barcelona are also circling him, apparently able to offer him more gametime leading up to the 2022 World Cup.
This leaves us with Thiago Silva, who does not yet have a contract for 2022-23 and is currently 37, Trevoh Chalobah and Malang Sarr as 3 CB options. Both Chalobah and Sarr are some way off reaching what can be considered the ‘peak age’ for a CB – with The Athletic suggesting from their data that this age

Indonesia is predominantly Muslim but is not an "Islamic" country in the sense that sharia law or islamic superiority is universally recognized (except in a limited way as in Aceh). In fact, that's the issue early on with Piagam Jakarta with the "syariat islam" part of the first sila being replaced by "Ketuhanan yang Maha Esa". So even during the initial phase of independent Indonesia, the role of Islam in Indonesia was questioned. But indeed, that question remains debated up to this day, yet at the same time, there seems to be a constant issue with religion in Indonesia, especially along with the issue regarding the majority (Islam) and minorities.
We had a peculiar relationship between and in religions. For example, the fact that Pancasila is neither completely religious nor completely secular gives a certain condition in which a certain degree of freedom was given under the law of the country. Religions in Indonesia are under the law, meaning their existence is regulated, while not completely confirming the influence of any of them, as they obey the law, not the other way around. What it made is that yes, this arrangement acknowledges minority religions despite the dominance of the majority religion. BUT, with certain formal and informal considerations applied also, such as how religions are literally must be officially acknowledged and recorded by the state, hence KTP includes religion section in it.
Now it is a topic which must be thoroughly examined and studied, why religion and their adherence behaved the way they did? What was the reason behind the arrangement? or even the history behind it? Most importantly, how did they shape the state's attitude towards each religion? If we think about it, why they don't necessarily go full Islamic even though the government officials are majority Muslim? that means the government has a distinct interest in that of the majority, or is it something else entirely? Why? Or why it seems that certain minority groups seem to be w

Republican Senator Kylie Rittenhouse (R-FL) defeated incumbent president Ocasio-Cortez by more than 2.8 million votes after her diplomatic failure in handling the Iran–Saudi War - a conflict that is in the process of sending the Middle East back to the stone age.
He stated that his "first order of business" is to reimplement the Electoral College. AOC tweeted in response: "lol @ the "elected" Ex-murderer republican bringing back the racist Electoral College and disenfranchising millions of POC voters living in urban areas. Republicans need voter suppression to win." Emir Malang Khostay of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan replied "Sneed [sic] and cope." Along with the tweet an image was attached depicting the Senator illegally wielding an assault rifle with a young crying AOC overlayed.
The Saudi and Israeli foreign ministers congratulated Rittenhouse on this news.
Good afternoon. I thought that I could make another contribution to this subreddit by writing about a topic that is near and dear to me. Thus, I present to you my essay on the history and culture of Javanese Buddhism in Indonesia.
I wrote this essay with a non-Buddhist audience in mind, so the used of complicated terminology is minimal. However, there is a separate section which explains the Buddhist terminology in my writing, which the readers can use. There is also a section where I list the references that I have used for my essay, which you can check out for further reading if you are interested. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask me.
This post will be divided into several sections:
During ancient times, Java had been famous as an international centre of Buddhism. A Chinese monk who lived in the 600’s records that he had gone to a land called “Heling” 訶陵, possibly a transliteration of “Walaing” or “Kalingga”, located in Java. He had come to study Buddhist texts and translate them into Chinese (Supomo, 2006). Another example: a stone inscription in Java, dated 782 AD, tells us that a monk from what is now Bangladesh had come to Java to inaugurate a statue of a Buddhist deity Bodhisattva Manjusri (Casparis, 2000). Likewise, Java also sent monks to foreign countries. A Javanese monk named “Bianhong” 辨弘 was recorded to have arrived in Chang’an, the capital of the Chinese Tang Dynasty, in 780 AD [(Woordward, 2009).](http://enlight.lib.ntu.edu.tw/FULLTEXT/JR-BJ011/bj01

Speech by Mr. Naim Majrouh, at the 1st Freemuse World conference in 1998
Ladies and Gentlemen!
In the last 20 years due to war, political and social instability, disorder and lawlessness many aspects of our culture have been devastated. Museums have been looted, libraries have been burned, important and valuable books and documents destroyed or sold in the neighbouring countries. The contents of Afghan National Archives have disappeared and the music has been banned. The musicians were forced to leave the country. As a whole the rich cultural heritage of Afghanistan is in danger of disappearance and destruction and talents are being wasted.
According to the theme of this conference "Music and Censorship", I would like to focus only on one aspect of our cultural devastation, which is the Afghan music. Here I will share with you some information and ideas about the glorious past and the present tragic situation of music in our country.
The history of music in Afghanistan is deeply rooted in the Arian civilisation of the city of Balkh in northern Afghanistan, centuries before Christ, that started from Regvida Religious Songs.
After the introduction of Islam to Afghanistan, schools of Sufism were established that mixed music with religion. Eight hundred years back Maulana Salaluddin Balkhi (Rumi) has established the Mulavia School of Sufism worshipping Allah with music and dance. He has repeatedly mentioned Rebab (one of the oldest music instruments) in his poems. Kwaja Mohenoddin Chushti of Chust of Herat in western Afghanistan has created the Chushtia school that worship Allah with music and songs which is later called Qawwali in India. The Sufi's schools of thought were introduced to northern India under the Mongol and Afghan Khilgi, Lodi and Suri dynasties.
Classical Indian music was elevated to a height by Amir Khusran Balkhi who is considered the inventor of modern Sitar and Tabla. He has invented Rags and Tals of which one is particular for Pashtu music. According to some sources of information the Afghan Rubab was converted into Sarod by a Pashtun settler, among whose descendant is modern India's most celebrated Sarod player, the great Amjad Ali Khan.
In the 19th century during the rule of Amir Sher Ali Khan classical music was introduced to the upper class of Afghan society. The Amir invited a group of Indian musicians to Kabul in order to promote classical Indian music and to train
