I remember the album very clearly but I am having a hard time remembering the song lyrics. I am pretty sure I heard this song in a place like Starbucks, as it was a calm, hipster-type song which had acoustic elements (but maybe not entirely). It has a male singer and it was in English.

From what I remember, the chorus had “oh oh oh” in it a couple of times, and I believe he said something like “oh oh oh, for the winter” at the end of the chorus each time.

Other than that I can’t remember specific lyrics, but I do remember the song being about a list of things he wanted to do as a kid before winter. The song had a very winter vibe. I’m the chorus he mentions something about someone (a relative or friend) being welcome to stay with him for the winter, but they never show up.

Apparently I am a visual person, because I can see the album cover in my mind but can’t really remember the lyrics lol! If I recall more details I’ll update here. Thanks for anyone who can help!

I don't know why, but every time I see the cover of yeti, I feel like sick, or uncomfortable or get chills... Once I listened to one of their songs, I think it was "She came through the chimney", but I remember after I listened to it, I felt nauseous. I don't why though...

Does anyone else get bad vibes too, or is it just me?

Edit: Halleluwah by Can also sometimes makes me feel uncomfortable for some reason too.

• First clue package:
  • Bundle of firewood / "Where I come from, too many yetis become monsters...." = he's from Inglewood, California, a city that is often stereotyped and known as ghetto and “not safe.”

Edit: so I am definitely down to get it. Talked to my tattoo artist. To cover my current tattoo on my shoulder I’d need to get a laser removal sesh: that’s too much time. So instead I’ll be moving the foot to my wrist. Won’t be as big but it will be more noticeable!!

Hey r/MTB - I need your help with a recent Yeti dilemma.

When getting my shock serviced and main pivots replaced by my LBS, I was made aware of some serious frame damage due to cable rub under the rear shock mount. Pics here

When going through the warranty process with Yeti they will not cover the damage because:

• the cable housing on the bike is likely too short causing the cable to 'saw' through the frame with every suspension cycle

• the zip ties holding the cables weren't tight enough

• I should have a frame protector installed, inspected regularly, and replaced as required

This seems like a cop out by Yeti and a serious engineering/design flaw on the frame but I'm at a loss for what to do. Yeti's offer is a frame replacement for $1,000 CAD but for a 2016 frame this seems unreasonably expensive.

The bike was purchased from and assembled by my LBS and the cable length is factory (never replaced).

The alternative is to get the damage repaired by a local carbon repair specialist for ~$600 CAD.

Would love some suggestions and thoughts!

Hi r/mechmarket! My name is Eric and I've been into mechanical keyboards for close to 3 years now. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and not being able to travel back to my home country, I started sculpting and casting keycaps in my spare time. It's been an eventful journey with learning how everything from culminates into a final keycap, and I want to share the fruits of that journey w/ everyone here. :)
