A list of puns related to "Y Not Festival"
So I was in my room just casually listening to The Story of Us when I began to think about how sad it is that Lover, folklore, and evermore probably won't be able to have their own album tours even though the tours would surely be magical as hell. Anyways, I began thinking that with her now the rerecording all her material, wouldn't it be the perfect time to just do an all out event completely circling her and her music?
I mean this idea is not that far-fetched as other artists have done this before. For example, Paramore used to do an annual Parahoy where they would do a series of events and live performances across a number of days all on a boat. I loved the idea of Parahoy and how it was conducted and I think Taylor could do something similar and equally as amazing as Parahoy.
She could have like a weekend or week of performances and events. Imagine like country day where she performs a ton of songs from Fearless and debut and then like pop day where she performs a bunch of stuff from 1989 and reputation. Then there would be folk day where she does folkmore. She could invite other artists as well idk.
I love pondering about this idea and want to know what y'all would imagine for it too. What do y'all think? What would you imagine a Taylorfest looking like? Like certain things on certain days? Certain attractions lol?
Personally I’m disappointed ngl, we’re gonna have 3 festival Meliodas in the game and still no Diane rip
For instance, something like RED ROCKET that opened last week in NY/LA--everything online, including Wikipedia and IMDb, just has the limited release date. Same for something like FLEE or DRIVE MY CAR, etc. Is there a resource to see when certain movies will get released to non-coastal audiences?
Also what did you buy with them?
I watch pretty much every bowl game I can, and while I enjoy all games and I’m sure the TV numbers are fine on all of them, the in person attendance for some of these games is just absurdly small. It’s a lost revenue opportunity for the teams, and can’t be fun for the players having no fans in the stand.
My thought is this, why not put like 3-8 bowl games in one location and attract people similar to a music festival? Get hardcore football fans to travel across the country for the ability to watch 3-4 games in a single day. Put it in a fun location like the Bahamas bowl or Vegas that people are willing to travel too, and make sure you have legalized gambling there and I’m sure people will come. College basketball already does something similar with in season tournaments. Can’t understand why they don’t do something like this instead of playing bowls in Idaho and like 5 bowl games in a exotic location like Dallas /s.
Edit cause 3 seconds after posting already had 2 comments discussing the cancelled bowls. This is of course not at all realistic if in future years we keep having games cancelled due to covid. This idea assumes a scenario where that no longer happens (seems with the way society is moving that might happen as soon as next year and could have happened already if we weren’t using outdated restrictions).
