I just don’t enjoy other racing games as much. I love wreckfest. I wish it’s physics, damage, and driving could be implemented in a bunch of other racing games. I wish wreckfest had tons of different types of racing. I love wreckfest. And so far no other game does it for me. I find myself bored by most arcade racers and I honestly just don’t enjoy racing sims that much. Wreckfest is just plain fun
I've been playing Riders Republic pretty much exclusively since its release. However, a couple nights ago, I saw Wreckfest on my Pro list and I was like, "I'll give it a shot."
Wow, what a game! I can honestly say this is the most fun I've ever had playing a racing game. So much carnage...metal and rubber (and sometimes people) flying everywhere. Love the selection of cars: tractors, buggies, buses, RVs...harvesters?
I've finished the first two circuits and quickly realized to stay back a bit and let other drivers annihilate themselves, then make your move. Although, there have been plenty of times I finished a race on three wheels. It's pretty much a badge of honor.
Just wanted to know what you all think of Wreckfest and if it's worth getting the season 1 or 2 pass.
People leave when I hit them, people get salty when drive a bus backwards (on a server where it’s allowed). I personally don’t really like racing games, but Wreckfest is one of my favourite games ever for a reason.
EDIT: Wreckfest apparently has much better driving and physics than other games, drawing in people who like to race clean. And on a side note: I leave people alone in clean racing servers, but I will continue to wreck in other servers

It’s not at all about winning or even racing in Wreckfest.
This is a place where velocity, kinetic energy and hate roam free to crush your hard-earned effort and skills. Your “hope” for a clean race has come here to die. Enemies are made and forged into diamonds of pure vengeance that comes for all at any moment.
One might think that reason and logic will change this place with a well thought out statement in chat.

The harsh reality of this game is hard for many to understand or accept.
Some of these players simply don’t care if they win or even live to finish. To complain, insult and threaten will only draw the eye of the true sharks that lurk here.

Hi, is it still worth it to buy it on PS4 for 30€ ? Are online players still active or is it dead now ? And if so, is only single player worth it for 3 y. o. game that probably doesn´ t have new updates every month ?
Since finally playing Wreckfest on my PC (been installed for ages but only just got round to it), I've become mildly obsessed with always playing the custom race of Rally Trophy. I love it, its almost my happy place, I'm not brilliant at it, still play on automatic, havent tried manual yet but always on Hard, no assists with Intense Damage. Always use the Boomer car as I love how it handles and is not stupid quick. My PB is around 5 mins 58 now. Jesus Christ, I love the course. Feel like I'm starting to know the route off by heart now. What is your PB and are there any other cars that work well with the course?
Group of us though it would be fun to try out a private server with Wreckfest. First time we collectively tried together. No matter who hosted the server (was 6 of us), anytime someone would try to join the invite, they kept getting 'game had a glitch' and would get kicked out. You could see each player actually enter the server room, but then they would get errors messages and eventually they were kicked. Tried multiple hosts and even changed the server regions to see if that helped. We never could get a game off the ground.
I'll reach out to the devs, but was just curious if anyone here has had any success with running a private server or if it is a known issue / bug.

Just want to let you know that Bugbear fixed the Accelaration/Braking on Wreckfest.
Previously on Stadia, when you accelerate or brake with a gamepad, it would behave as a Digital input (1 or 0) like a keyboard key.
Now it behaves as it should, as analogs where you can accelerate/brake harder or softer.
If you did put the game aside because of that, you can go back to it :)
I'm thinking of getting Wreckfest during the sales.
But I was wondering if the game is dead or not? It's been out for a few years and I feel like this game is a lot more fun online than singeplayer (not sure considering I haven't played it yet tho). So I was wondering how good the game is doing to this day and if it's worth getting considering the (still active) fanbase.

We've had a Carmageddon update, we've had a Rally Trophy update, but what kind of games do you want to see wreckfest do a collaboration with? And what tracks and cars should be in those updates?
I really love wreckfest but im playing more Forza the last days...but wreckfest has this nice flow...what can the devs do to increase playerbase? More events? More road Tracks?

As a lover of racing games and general mayhem, I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a racing game like I do Wreckfest. Play to win or play to destroy...love it!
