In the United States, workers work among the longest, most extreme, and most irregular hours; have no guarantee to paid sick days, paid vacation, or paid family leave; and pay more for health insurance, yet are sicker and more stressed out than workers in other advanced economies. reddit.com/r/conspiracy/c…

[Challenge] Restructure the balance of power in the United States to rest more in the states than the federal government by 2070

A restructuring of power in the United States to more closely resemble the European Union with the federal government deriving it's power from the states instead of the top down infrastructure in place now.

Everyone in the United States commits Mass Suicide except you and your family. What happens next???

For some strange reason everyone kills themselves in the United States.

  • How does the world react? Especially in countries such as Iran or North Korea?
  • How does China react after their trading partner self-annihilates?
  • Finally some jerks are dead. We can celebrate.

What realistically happens to America's lands?

How many states does your family history in the United States include?

Does your American family history only have people living in one state, or did your ancestors live in different states throughout the United States?

It’s interesting that the most “essential” people in the United States work in sectors of business that, at large, treat it’s employees as expendable.

I’ve worked in the service industry, a couple different trades, and a common theme I’ve seen at most business is a major part of the power dynamic hinges upon the fact the employee understands he or she is replaceable. This keeps people begrudgingly coming to work, and often settling for a job due to a shroud of simple gratefulness for employment. Now that we see who our culture deems essential, I can’t help but wonder, who, and what jobs, are actually expendable?

Which US State or City in your experience offers the best for an overall DevOps experience, in terms of salary, quality of living, healthy balance of work/life, job satisfaction, and the number of available jobs? Why?

I am Arab-American. I have lived in both the Middle East and the United States, have family and citizenship in both and have been hated and loved by both races for being Mixed-Race, ask me anything!

My moms side of the family is white and Asian and my dads is Arab, I don’t expect anyone to care much because my situation is not unique, I just haven’t seen an AMA like this yet, so maybe I just haven’t searched hard enough, if so, sorry.
