A list of puns related to "Wilson Riles"
So I work at a newspaper in northern New Jersey and one of my colleague's put pressure on the police department in Oklahoma by looking into the cold case. Jody Rilee Wilson's husband was arrested for her murder and his mother was arrested for helping him move the body. About two weeks ago, my colleague spoke with JRW's father-in-law who gave a chilling interview that you can listen to.

JRW was from Roxbury, NJ and moved to Oklahoma, got married, had a baby and then disappeared. She had emailed her Avon manager right before she disappeared, telling her that she was heading out of town for a few days and that she had lost her cell phone to call her husband. Her body was found by someone hang gliding . My colleague wrote whole four part series which is available in the link posted above.
I posted a few months back about the unsolved murders of Jody Rilee-Wilson. Her father in law has come out and said that it was indeed his son Bo who killed Jody. And his now ex-wife helped to dispose of the body.

The United States in the Aftermath:
When Americans woke up in 1919 to a world dominated by the Kaiserreich, some were overjoyed, others dismayed, but most were apathetic. After all it was just another European war, and one that had cost millions of lives at that. After the SS George Washington sinking and Black Tom Explosion, the Entente was forced to open non-war trade to Germany. A multitude of private charities stepped in to help alleviate hunger in the Central Powers, one of the leaders of this movement was a young humanitarian named Herbert Hoover. Hoover led the Commission for Relief in Germany and later the new Belgian state of Flanders-Wallonia. Along with humanitarian aid though, investors began to invest in German industry and companies. This increasing trade with the devastated nation led to an even greater economic boom in the United States as they profited off of their neutrality. While the upper and middle class thrived though, the working class had not forgotten the injustices of the Gilded Age. Prominent socialist journalist Jack Reed left the burning husk of Bolshevik Russia and was there to bear witness to the French Civil War and establishment of the Commune of France. Taken by the comparative efficiency and ability to provide for the people of the CGT's government, compared to what he had seen of the Bolsheviks, he became an ardent syndicalist and on his return from Europe released 10 Weeks That Shook the World, an apparent sequel to his earlier writings on the failed Russian Revolution. It became the definitive English-language account of the French Revolution, and earned Reed great notoriety among American leftists including one βBig Billβ Haywood. Reed would convince Haywood to officially endorse syndicalism, which he did, and it became the official ideology of his newly formed Socialist Party of America (SPA).
President Woodrow Wilson had made true on his campaign pledge to stay out of the war and was known as the βMan Who Kept the Peaceβ by most of the public. Using his popularity and without regard to his health problems, Wilson secured the Democratic Party's nomination for an unthinkable third term. Wilsonβs longtime Vice President, Thomas R. Marshall, refused to be on the ticket as VP again and so the Democrats chose Attorney General Alexander Mitchell Palmer to run with Wilson. Wilsonβs first choice for VP, the ambitious Assistant Secretary of the Navy Franklin D. Roosevelt had succumbed to Guillain-Barre syndrome ea

As Europe burned in the fire of the Great War, the United States of America prospered. President Wilsonβs vow to remain neutral is what got him elected and he is sticking to itβ¦ mostly. The President is partial to the Entente and Kaiser Wilhelm II knows this. In a rare moment of intelligence, the Kaiser listened to his advisors and made the decision to not resume unrestricted submarine warfare and to begin massive propaganda operations inside the US, providing stark evidence of the hunger and hardship that the Entente blockade is inflicting on Central Europe to newspapers. Moved to action, wealthy German-Americans start a charity for German children, gathering clothes, toys and treats to be distributed as Christmas gifts. Tragedy struck when a Royal Navy submarine mistook their vessel, the SS George Washington, for a German ship and torpedoed it, taking it down with all hands.
The SS George Washington Before Being Sunk by a British Submarine
Confused initial reports implied that the sub had full knowledge that they were sinking an American vessel and even left drowning passengers to die in the North Atlantic. German spies and prominent yellow journalists such as William Randolph Hearst seized on the opportunity, and by the time the full story was revealed, public outrage had already reached a fever pitch. President Wilson implored the British to compromise and let non-war supplies through before Congress votes for sanctions or other punitive measures. With little choice, the blockade ceases counting farm products, foodstuffs, and other critical goods as war material, delivering the Central Powers from looming famine.
The mass media struck another killing blow to the interventionist cause in the Fall of 1917, when leaks from the FBI surrounding the investigation into the Black Tom Explosion implied that there was a belief the explosion had been orchestrated by foreign operatives. After the George Washington incident, hints of foreign action pointed squarely to the Entente and by the time official statements were put out, most of America believed the Entente was trying to spur the US into action by blaming sabotage on Imperial Germany.
The End of the War:
With the US firmly out of the war, famine and economic collapse staved off, and the Russian Revolution effectively ending the Eastern Fr

JANUARY 17TH
RHOA, S8E11, 2016
Phaedra is in Washington for the 20th anniversary of the Million Man March, and since they are going to be discussing Save Our Sons there, she invites Kim Fields and Sheree, both of who have sons themselves. Porsha is also invited - probably needing to learn there are more than 265 days in a year and the underground railroad was indeed not an actual railroad.
They meet with congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson, who is wearing a bedazzled fourth of July cowboy hat and an American bow tie necklace. She talks to the housewives about the reality for black boys and men in America, and that "people really don't like African-American boys." It's heartbreaking. Kim Fields thinks that these subjects are much too heavy for her sons, especially Sebastian, her eight-year-old. Phaedra is upset, and says she doesn't have the option of "sugarcoating reality to her sons."
The old lady gang is excited about the restaurant idea that Kandi and Todd have, but they don't want ot be cooking or working, just wanting to be the face of the place.
Kenya talks to her aunt Lori about her mom refusing to open the door for her last week, and why Lori left the reunion early. Lori is upset with Kenya, as she got a call from her sister asking Kenya to leave her alone, and Lori thinks that her sister has every right to not have contact with Kenya, now and since she gave her up as a baby.
Nene makes an appearance and says the queen is back.
RHOP, S1E1, 2016
In my opinion, this is one of the best series premieres in the housewives universe, as we learn so much about the women and they bring the drama.
Meeting the women within the affluent suburb within Maryland and just outside of D.C, we meet Katie, Charisse, Gizelle, Robyn, Ashley and Katie!
Gizelle starts off telling us she is not only a legacy but a pedigree, and that Karen just grew up on a farm. She was married to a pastor, but he couldn't be monogamous, so she and her three daughters are doing just fine on their own!
Karen believes herself to be the complete leader, and is very proud of marrying the "black Bill Gates".
Katie introduces herself as someone who is desperate to get married, her boyfriend is a wonderful dad to her kids from a previous relationship, and pressure

Welcome to Day 23 of the r/indieheads Album of the Year 2021 Write-Up Series, our annual event where we showcase pieces from some of our favorite writers on the subreddit talking about their favorite records of the year! Today, we have u/AbeFroman1123 on Black Midi's Cavalcade.
Background by u/AbeFroman1123:
black midi are a British experimental/post-punk/math rock band that formed in the mid-2010s in Croydon, a major suburb of London. Comprising Geordie Greep (vocals/guitar), Cameron Picton (bass/vocals), Morgan Simpson (percussion), and the currently-on-hiatus Matt Kwasniewski-Kelvin (guitar/vocals), the boys from black midi met while attending the BRIT School, known for producing talented musicians as diverse as King Krule and Adele. Following a residency at esteemed London venue The Windmill, word of the bandβs frenetic live performances and unconventional tunes began to spread like wildfire, leading to a performance with legendary krautrocker Damo Suzuki and a feature on Seattleβs KEXP music network. A record deal with Rough Trade soon followed, along with a slew of hype-building singles, before finally, in June of 2019, the group released their seismic debut record. Schlagenheim was an immediate oddity, captivating listeners with Greepβs unusual vocal style and the chaotic virtuosity displayed in everyoneβs performances. The album catapulted black midi to the forefront of the London indie scene, a position that has led to a steadily increasing global presence. Earlier this year the band announced that Kwasniewski-Kelvin would be taking a sabbatical to focus on his mental health, and that their highly anticipated sophomore album would be dropping in May. Preceded by a handful of left-field promotional singles and a string of performances with an expanded line-up (featuring Seth Evans on keys and Kaidi Akinnibi on saxophone), Cavalcade was released on May 26th, a few days before its announced release date. Mostly abandoning the noisy-yet-rhythmic post-punk of their debut, this album chooses instead to go in aβ¦weirder direction.
Writeup by u/AbeFroman1123:
Prologue: Puh-LEASE, Mr. Post-Punk
black midi often gets grouped in with the post-punk scene, and for good reason. Schlagenheim borrowed heavily from the progenitors

I just want to take a moment to say I'm truly thankful to all my fellow reddit NFL fans for making this post series a thing and showing your support. You're the reason I get up an hour early on Wednesdays, not the two psycho kids running around the house forcing me from my slumber... This week we have two more teams on byes, with five divisional matchups waiting for us. We also have the standard Thanksgiving Day format of three games on Thursday, so make sure you don't give yourself a food coma and miss the action. My picks last week were much improved, getting me 10-5 and bringing me to 106-59 on the season. Post your results and your picks for this week. Let's get to it!
Things have gotten a bit more uncomfortable since my last posting. Iβve needed some time to process this information, so Iβve contacted all my clients and told them Iβm taking the next few weeks off. Being in the transcription trade, sure there is a chance that Iβll lose most of them, since thereβs surely not a shortage of people wanting the work.
But I just cannot seem to focus. How can I concentrate on legal mumbo jumbo when all I can think about is my late Fathers tapes. How am I suppose to pay attention to podcasts on business expenditure and local politics, or medical notes on someones surgical procedure, when the thoughts of Bleak Valley keep swirling around in my mind. No, there's no way I could fixate on anything else.
It has become all consuming.
I even had a dream about it last night. Surrounded by dark forest trees, far as the eye can see, the scent of pine and damp earth filling my subconscious. I was in an open field, the land seemingly wiped clean from the rest of the forest. I remember feeling afraid, of feeling an intense anxiety, as if hundreds upon hundreds of eyes were looking right at me. But there was nothing there. Just the moonless black night and the forever sea of trees. As I stood there, afraid and alone, I heard a voice, my Fathers voice. And I swear to God it felt like it was right beside my ear, like I could feel his breath as the words were spoken.
Appease Her.
With a gasp I jolted awake, drenched in a cold sweat, feeling as if I had been sleeping in a freezer. As the words and sensations slowly faded away, I realized I was dreaming and tried to collect myself. I jotted the dream down in my dream journal at my bedside. Yes, I have a dream journal, please donβt laugh, itβs actually helpful to me.
Since then, Iβve chosen another tape from the box. It took me a while to actually play it though. Iβd stare at the thing, wondering where it came from, why my father had it. Iβd toss in around in my hand, flipping it over and back, remembering who my Father was and racking my brain for answers.
This particular tape was labelled β55β. I still have no idea why. As with the last tape, the numerical tag had zero significance to me. Maybe it had none whatsoever, I have no idea. What I do know is if it does mean something, Iβll damn well find out, you can bet on that.
Right, letβs get to the real meat a

But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.
Mathematical puns makes me number
They were cooked in Greece.
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
Don't you know a good pun is its own reword?

Calcium, nickel, neon
My daughter, Chewbecca, not so much.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Now that I listen to albums, I hardly ever leave the house.
Put it on my bill
