A list of puns related to "Vertical conveyor"
Hello, I am playing on a multiplayer server where TNT duping has been patched, meaning I have to resort to withers to use make a tree farm automatic. Iβve got the wither cage figured out, but the thing thatβs causing me headaches is the piston conveyor belt that pushes the logs into the tail of the wither(the farm is similar to ilmangoβs nether tree farm, https://youtu.be/XyHSxyFKioA) I tried using the staircase pistons used in that farm, as well as his new 5,5 blocks/second vertical conveyor belt, but due to either server lag or server-based redstone weirdness(the server uses paper), the blocks get pushed to the sides even though it works perfectly fine in singleplayer. My question is, are there any such contraptions that work well on multiplayer servers?
I'm currently in the process of linking up several farms to a tnt blaster all designed by ilmango. However today after building everything in survival i realized that all conveyor belts except work except for the horizontal to vertical one due to 1.16 updates with 0tick does anyone have a solution to this? I need to bring a single file like up 30 blocks to make this work. Not being able to would require moving the tnt farm down 30blocks and redirecting all the water streams.
Just started playing this game and it's pretty awesome.
I wanted to ask since alot of my stuff seems to be getting jammed up with me not realizing the conveyor belts only merge one way and not split, that I need to start pressing some up and down arrows when building conveyor belts.
So I was wondering if later techs allow for conveyor belt stacking and vertical sorting?
trying to decide if i should redesign my layout.
I like the way conveyor belt 3d printers can print multiple copies of the same model but I don't like the way the angled z-axis lines look. Do you think a belt printer with a z-axis that can be quickly adjusted between vertical and angled would be a good idea? That way you could change between printing multiple copies of a small model and individual long models. It would be even better of the z-axis could move between angled and vertical on it's own during the print.
I have a pipe outputting about 60% pressure that connects into a row of two flat converyor belts and then a vertical one, but there's no water exiting the vertival conveyor belt.
Does anybody have an idea where that could come from?
Hey guys,
Is there a logistics building at some point in the game that can merge conveyors that are stacked vertically? I've only just completed Tier 2 and assumed that somewhere along the line that this type of building would exist so I've kinda planned parts the system around stacked conveyors.
Recently I found out that you can put conveyor belts vertically but they don't seem to have any special interactions. Like, you can grapple normally on to them, you slide with the climbing claws as if they were a normal wall, items don't climb up when they get close. I don't know what else to try.
Any idea on what could they be used for?
I installed 1.3 and then noticed another update a few hours later (presumably 1.3.3), came to play this morning and noticed my old setup isn't working any more.
Goliaths at bedrock, harvested nuggets won't move up to the surface any more. It is like there isn't enough pressure, but the system was working great before.
Loving the update content and I was so excited to play with the conveyor lifts but was disappointed when I discovered the lifts only go up.... unless I'm missing a feature. Makes sense though if I pay attention to the name. LIFT.
I would love seeing Vertical Conveyors that can go up OR down.
AND If I'm just displaying to all that I'm an idiot and the conveyor lifts CAN go down, how do I do that? I want vertical conveyors that go down on me! hubba hubba
Looking for the most compact way to move materials up, any ideas?
When attempting to bring up the MK1 Vertical Conveyor Belt the game crashes for everyone aside from the host. Once the belt has been placed, the game crashes upon connecting to the host.
Seems to be working fine in a solo game. Is anyone else experiencing this?
I was messing around with vertical conveyors, after finishing my spaghetti tech rush to coal power, and tried to replicate an idea I saw on https://youtu.be/7JzKsFuVgGk?t=139
Internal and External Elevators
I think I got a decent internal elevator with direct splits down. I plan to store belts climbing up the side on the side with an external elevator, until they can pop into the system, using the following technique:
Do you guys have any ideas for building vertically? I'd love to hear them.
And yep, there are two backwards foundries there.
Edit: I came up with a better design that makes both the internal belts LITERALLY internal.
Had this idea for a little bit about growing my own vegetables at home. I've seen decoration ideas about herbs in the kitchen, and i was thinking a little about using vertical space, instead of horizontal space.
So i had this idea, where if the vegetables were grown in pots and the pots were on a vertical conveyor belt, which would rotate specific pots as needed.
This what I had in mind.
Each pot would house vegetables, and at the bottom of each pot there would be lamps for the pot below. Water could be delivered through the hanger.
Here's the math....
How many pots (and what size) would be needed to *perpetually have farm fresh vegetables at home. (for one adult person... family(4.5) for curiosity if you want)
Use a one story house with a basement for space considerations. (two stories if needed)
The conveyor loop could go horizontal in the basement area if needed.
Aim for 2500ftΒ² or 230mΒ² . Floor plan is roughly 11Γ11m(yards) and we'll call the ceiling height 11 as well. So 11Γ22m wall space is usable.
Assume water, and electricity are free, and also assume, airflow is optimal.
vegetables could be carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, green beens, peas. I'm not sure if choices make too much of a difference, but "a balanced diet" should be the goal.
Have fun!
If I put a decent large bottle, like a soda bottle in vertical position, it will usually fall on the previous customers groceries when the conveyor is moving. If I do put the bottle in horizontal position, it usually rolls in every direction when the conveyor is moving.
