A list of puns related to "Ventricular aneurysm"
In Pathoma, Dr. Sattar mentions that scar formation will "weaken" the ventricular wall post-MI, causing an aneurysm to form. What exactly does he mean by this? According to sketchy path, scar tissue is stronger than regular tissue but the problem is that the scar may be thin.
So basically, I filed for "Heart Failure". It's a pretty generic disability title.
I'm a Gulf War vet and cardiac issues are listed as a presumptive. My question revolves around whether they will rate all of my associated heart issues separately (like I want).
All of my care has been in the private sector and I provided all of my records with my claim submission. I'm not sure if my VSO (DAVCAL) will hash them out or if it'll be discussed in the C&P? I guess the best part about my claim is that they base everything on the measurement of heart function, so I won't have to jump through hoops (I'm sure there will be others...).
I'm meeting with my electrophysiologist in a couple weeks to discuss getting a AICD (defrib) installed, this rates at 100% by itself.
History: 52yo, started having dizzy spells when I was in the Navy, was diagnosed with an arrhythmia a couple years after Desert Storm Got out, fast forward a few years and was diagnosed with an aortic aneurysm (think of a swollen garden hose right before it ruptures). Lived with that for a decade until I had trouble walking a quarter-mile without a break.
To quote : "Immediate complications of myocarditis include ventricular dysrythmias, left ventricular aneurysm, CHF and dilated cardiomyopathy. The mortality rate is up to 20% at 1 year and 50% at 5 years. Despite optimal medical management, overall mortality has not changed in the last 30 years." - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK459259/#article-25470_s15
To quote Dr. Anthony Hinton : "Viral myocarditis results in 2 in 10 people dead after 2 years and 5 in 10 after 5 years. It's not mild. It's dead heart muscle." Twitter: @DrTonyHinton2016
Now..my question is not which is more common (covid myocarditis or vaccine induced myocarditis), as I do believe side effects are being grossly underreported. My question is this:
β’ Is there any credible evidence that the mortality rate of vaccine induced myocarditis is significantly less than viral myocarditis?
I see posters on other subreddits claiming that vaccine induced myocarditis is 'not as bad' and that it can be 'treated early'.
Reflect on this quote: "Despite optimal medical management, overall mortality has not changed in the last 30 years."
How does vaccine induced myocarditis differ?
Surely myocarditis is myocarditis and anything with a side effect this deadly should have been pulled immediately instead of being passed off as a mild inconvenience.
Open to correction.
Do your worst!
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.

Me: Hi hungry, I'm dad.
