Fire near Bow Valley Trail and Gap Lake. Why is the traffic being held up for so long? Not because of emergency vehicles but because there are people parked on both sides of the two lane road on the hill trying to snap photos from outside their vehicle. Went up to the OHV trail by the Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada, USA. It was mostly washboard dirt roads and a few rock obstacles. Either way, it was a treat seeing the jutting red rocks all over the area.

Road trip through valley of fire need help
Hey guys, wife and I are coming down to visit the third week of July. We are planning on renting a nice car and taking a day to see valley of fire. We are already seeing the Grand Canyon. I am looking for suggested routes for a scenic drive through the park and maybe through lake Meade also. We will be leaving from the strip an returning to the strip. How many miles and hours do you think this would take? Other suggestions welcome.
Bub’s valley fever test came back positive ☹️ poor guy is in a lot of pain but we have lots of prescribed meds/antibiotics to keep him comfy while he’s on the road to recovery. Any additional suggestions to help this lovely guy would be SO appreciated! reddit.com/gallery/rchhla

Good morning for the mountain communities! Just wanted to come here to say if you plan on coming up here to play in the snow, as many you valley dwellers do, please ensure your vehicles can handle icy conditions! Every year dozens of day trippers get stuck on our roads and it's not fun for anyone.
