How to transport a bike to/from Valley Forge? Uber? SEPTA? Other?
Riding to Valley Forge from Center City, and back again is my goal for 2022. Right now, it's beyond my ability (I've never ridden more than 30 miles in a day), but I feel confident that I'll be able to tackle it by Fall. In the meantime, someone suggested that I do the ride in one direction, and take my bike in a car in the opposite direction, so that I can start getting used to the route. For example, take my bike to Valley Forge and then ride it home.
I don't own a car. None of my friends own cars (or at least none that I could ask to drive me to Valley Forge). Has anyone successfully transported a bike via Uber or Lyft? I've never put my bike on the front of a SEPTA bus before. Can I do that all the way from CC to VF on the 125?
