A list of puns related to "Utility scam"
Website: https://spywolf.co/token/
Spywolf is not another meme coin, this is a long-term utility project that's trying to do something positive in the cryptospace/BSC.
SpyWolf, is aiming to fight scams in the crypto space, and help investors avoid scams with an ecosystem of helpful resources, including an anti-scam portal which just launched. SpyWolf also aims to be another big player in the crypto auditing space. They've already audited a handful of projects, and plan to use these funds for buybacks and marketing.
SpyWolf has also teamed up with LunaPR who has worked with projects as large as Kadena, to help advertise and provide community outreach for the project.
Tokenomics are strong too, only a 9% transaction tax. And 3% of that is redistributed to holders in BNB automatically. Being an early investor could be very lucrative for those looking for passive income.
Check this project out, this will be a great long-term hold that will explode massively next year. As crypto becomes more mainstream, scams are going to become more and more prevalent, and it's important we have resources and projects aimed at combating them .

Good day, redditors.
My girlfriend and I have a house together, and all bills are pretty much in my name. I pay them all, etc.
Well, either way, she got a call today from a local area code and they claimed to be our electric/gas company, claiming we had an unpaid bill if $141. Normally she would have dismissed this, however she knew our prior bill was $142.xx, so she thought it had gone unpaid (as I've had a large slowdown at work and therefore some money problems). Because it was a local number and they had nearly correctly guessed the bill amount, she trusted it and gave them her credit card number as well as the CCV number on the back. She was stressed from a hard day at work, and also on the hour drive home in poor weather, so I guess I can't blame her for believing it, but nonetheless, they ended up pulling $480 twice. The 2nd time, it looks like the automated system the credit union used flagged it. But the first attempt went through and posted.
She realized what happened VERY shortly after and called the credit union, but they won't chargeback the $480 because it's "not considered fraudulent because she gave them the information". What are our options here? I filed a claim with the FTC, and called the credit union myself and got the same information. Not sure what to do, but I feel like the bank is giving us the run around.
My apologies if this isn't the correct reddit for this, I figured it was related enough but I understand if it isnt.

Just had a fella come through our apartment complex on Golfside claiming to represent some utility company (not DTE) and ask to see the DTE bill. Told him to hit the road, but I wanted to make sure other people were aware of this common scam tactic.
FlyPaper is doing their part to stop DeFi scams and bring legitimacy to Decentralized Finance by setting a new standard for projects in the space. Projects will be reviewed and voted on at the SwapMeet.
Each project presented at the FlyPaper SwapMeet will undergo a complete, in-depth review process prior to listing for the vote. Voters will have access to a detailed, standardized report prior to making their decision. Votes will last for 72 hours; this gives the community of $STICKY holders plenty of time to discuss and debate whether the project deserves Larry's Stamp of Approval.
What's Larry's Stamp of Approval? Larry's Stamp is a certificate of public trust. It is a 6 month certification that requires renewal by FlyPaper upon expiration. It will become the new standard for projects in the space. Want to be trusted? You need to get vetted by FlyPaper and approved by the SwapMeet first.
The SwapMeet is currently in its Beta version; at this time only members that hold more than 2 million $STICKY are able to vote. Eventually all holders will have the ability to cast their vote.
Voters will receive compensation for their votes; 0.025 BNB for the beta SwapMeet.
SwapMeet is just the beginning; what if there was a place were only trusted, vetted projects were able to be swapped? FlySwapper coming Q4.
You can submit projects for review right now; the first vote is going live Monday, August 30th. The project up for review will be the Decentralized Community Investment Protocol (DCIP). FlyPaper is accepting projects for review right now as well.
$STICKY Tokenomics:
500,000,000 total supply
No mint function
4% reflections to holders
2% swapped into BNB each transaction for project development
Be a part of something great. Join the FlyPaper revolution and bring a new standard to DeFi.

Good day, redditors.
My girlfriend and I have a house together, and all bills are pretty much in my name. I pay them all, etc. Washington State, as they may help.
She was stressed from a hard day at work, and also on the hour drive home in poor weather, so I guess I can't blame her for believing it, but nonetheless, they ended up pulling $480 twice. The 2nd time, it looks like the automated system the credit union used flagged it, as she was called by their automated line while on the phone with the bank.. But the first attempt went through and posted.
She realized what happened VERY shortly after and called the credit union, but they won't chargeback the $480 because it's "not considered fraudulent because she gave them the information". In fact, the representative I spoke to recommended contacting the utility company for reimbursement, which seems insane to me. I did contact them to notify them of the scam, but clearly didn't expect anything from them. I do intend to call them back tomorrow and give them a much harder time, but I'm not sure it will get us anywhere.
I filed a claim with the FTC, and called the credit union myself and got the same information. Not sure what to do, but I feel like the bank is giving us the run around. I do plan on cling them again tomorrow, even if she authorized an amount to be taken, ff she didn't authorize $480 to be charged, it would still be fraudulent in my opinion, but I'm clearly no expert.
We are fortunate enough that we can still scrape by without the $480, but I would like to exhaust all of the options first.
