A list of puns related to "University of Leeds"
On the 20th April 2026, tragedy struck the nation. A suicide bomber entered the University of Leeds intending to detonate his explosive vest in a packed lecture hall.
22-year-old Abdul Amari entered the University at 10:55, just as students were heading to lectures. 18-year-old first-year student Peter Michaels was walking with his friends to their History lecture when he noticed Amari nervously walking through a hallway, covered in sweat and wearing a thick jacket on a very hot April day. When Amari moved to open a door, Michaels noticed him clutching something in his hands and a noticeable unnatural bulge around his waist.
Michaels confronted Amari, by feigning bumping into him, noticing that Amari was clutching what resembled a Dead Man's Switch (DMS) while wearing a black vest under his jacket (it is believed he had unzipped his jacket for ventilation and so that the wire did not get caught, hoping that nobody would notice if he quickly walked through the campus. Michaels quickly grabbed the DMS and held it down over Amari's hand, while pulling his jacket aside, revealing an extensive suicide vest. Aware with what he was now dealing with, Michaels shouted to all around him,
> "Bomb! Bomb! The guy's got a bomb on him, run!"
Students fled in panic, and soon the corridor was empty for all but Michaels and Amari. At this point, it is known from CCTV footage that Michaels and Amari exchanged words but it is not known what was said. Security quickly picked up on the situation and was present within a couple of minutes. Police had already been called for a bomb and terror threat from fleeing students. A campus security guard stood with Michaels and Amari while Michaels clutched the DMS.
Police were on the scene within ten minutes with bomb units present in fifteen. Alas, it was too late. Michaels told the police present to fall back, he couldn't hold the DMS for much longer. By this point, his hands were aching for he had held this button over Amari's thumb in place for close to twenty minutes now. He passed on a personal message for his family while sobbing to an officer present, and demanded that those present evacuated. During this time, Amari was loudly shouting in Arabic, sobbing intermittently. Police pulled back to the cordon and at almost exactly twenty-two minutes after confronting Amari, Michaels let go of the DMS.
An explosion rang out across the campus grounds. When the police inspected the scene, not much was left of either Amari or Mich

TL:DR - I HAVE NO CLUE, HELP ME
I currently reside in the US and am thinking of going back to school at University of Leeds. I am thinking of attending for their MSc in Food Science (Food Biotechnology). I currently am working in food sensory and a bit in r&d and would like to get into the plant based meats or lab grown meats field. My undergrad was in food science and had an emphasis in fermentation and I think that adding in a background in food biotechnology would be helpful in pursuing this career path. I'm thinking of going to the UK for school due to it being a bit less expensive and having a shorter program time so I can get back into industry more quickly. I am thinking of going to University of Leeds because it has been ranked well as a school for food science in the UK. Does anyone have any advice for this career shift and also any thoughts on going to school athletes this university? Thanks for any advice.
Hiya all,
I'm coming to University of Leeds this September and need help with finding a good accommodation nearby. The University's options are quite steep and the difference between them and outside accommodation is nearly half.
I am essentially looking for an en-suite for a single guy. I'm thinking of reaching mid-September and then finalize, but am afraid I might be leaving things too late. I will have about ten days time before the classes start though.
Any help you guys offer is greatly appreciated!
Has anyone done this?

I am planning on teaching in Thailand for awhile longer. Been here 8 years already. Need to get my PGCEi.
This one from Leeds Beckett is half the price of the Nottingham PGCEi program, which I've already been accepted.
I'm basically just chasing the paper, not concerned with quality of the program.
I'm not interested in TeachNow or M.Ed or QTS.
Thank you.
