A list of puns related to "United States Government Manual"
Iβm 16 but Iβll be 17 soon. Iβve been driving on country roads since I was 9 and fully understand the power that cars have and how quickly things can go wrong. I use my parentβs cars and I borrow my grandmaβs Passat in the summer time. I have 6.5k and thatβs all I can justify for a fun car. I do not need comfort, I just need to fit in it relatively okay since Iβm 6β5. I can fit in almost every car tho.
Comfort is not needed. Practicality is not needed. Fuel economy is not a problem. I just want it to perform well on my local mountain road and to be semi-reliable. I want something light with an engine that has potential to make more power. I wanted something Japanese but I donβt think that itβs going to happen anymore. Also, this car WILL be modified.
Go crazy! Insurance is not a problem, I make plenty of money.
In every corner of politics, the politicians are bought and owned by the highest bidder(i.e. campaign contributors.) This is shown time and time again when average citizens interests are not represented in any way. The only way out of this is to dismantle and destroy these groups from within. Who's with me?
Title, I know they sell them in Canada but figure Iβd get wrecked on trying to export one and pay all the taxes etc. So, anyone know how to get one?
From December 2019 to January 2020, a series of widely sighted unidentified drones were observed in the skies of Colorado, Nebraska, and Kansas. The FBI, the Federal Aviation Administration, and local law enforcement all investigated the sightings but have never determined the origins of the dronesβ¦
Now, come along my young padawans, for us to investigate the attack of the drones.
New Yearβs Eve, 2020, Placido Montoya from Fort Morgan, Colorado was on his way to work when he noticed blinking lights in the sky. There had been rumors of mysterious drones, UFOs, floating around the local community but it was a whole different thing to see them in person. Montoya decided to give chase, pushing his truck to 120 mph to try and keep up.
>βThey were creepy, really creepy,β Montoya said, βI donβt know how to describe it, but itβs almost as if they were watching us.β
That night, the Morgan County Sheriffβs Office received more than thirty calls from locals reporting more drones.
At the same time, neighboring Nebraska and Kansas were dealing with their own mysterious sightings. One Nebraska deputy reported seeing 30 to 50 drones in the sky. All reports shared similar details: always multiple drones between 6pm and 10pm, flying in grid formations, with wingspans of up to 6 feet (which is quite large for a drone.)
These sightings caught national attention, with multiple agencies and political figures addressing the issue. Senator of Colorado, Cory Gardner tweeted:
>βIβve been in contact with the FAA regarding the heavy drone activity in Eastern Colorado and Iβm encouraged that theyβve opened a full investigation to learn the source and purpose of the drones. I will continue to closely monitor the situation.β
An interagency meeting was held in Colorado involving more than 70 federal, state, and local agencies (including the FBI & the US Air Force.) They had a grand total of zero findings.
So whatβs it all about, Alfie?
The answer unfortunately is⦠not much. However, as more and more sight
... keep reading on reddit β‘I feel like this could also go under r/nostupidquestions because this feels stupid, but here goes. Our DOI states that we have the inalienable rights of "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Our country was founded on the belief that a government should support it's people in achieving access to these rights. As it currently functions, our government does almost nothing to support these ideals and actually inhibits access to them. From healthcare to minimum wage to PTO to the very definition of our workweek, our government fails to provide a path to any of these. We don't have the basic resources. We don't have any back up sources. Am I making any sense? Apologies if this is incoherent rambling.
Ultimately, I think this doesn't go far enough; I think we ought to have socialized healthcare for everyone. But I do understand the arguments against it. However, I don't think that any of these arguments hold up when we're talking about children. Since children can't hold jobs, no amount of hard work or personal responsibility is going to help them pay for medical care. Since their parents make the vast majority of nurturing decisions for them (like what to eat and what to drink) their medical issues are very unlikely to be their fault.
Children aren't their parents' property. A system in which a child receives inadequate medical care because his parents' are janitors with bad health insurance is an immoral system.
Iβm doing a school project about this very topic and I was wondering if any of you could share you personal experience to help me with this project. I have my own perspectives but I also want other perspectives from the community! Also kind of unrelated but would anyone maybe be interested in being interviewed over zoom? If not just share your perspectives in the comments below. Much appreciated.
