Please help me, when it restarted, my laptop also lagged a bit. its normal now but i want to know why it happened
I'll go first. I own a small coffee place that I bought as is, so no start-up experience as such. I'd say there are two main things that I didn't account for in my budget.
One is that things break. In the short period of four months, I've had to fix the wiring, fix a couple of cabinets, a shelve, replace the main lock, half a dozen glasses, two display cases, a pitcher, and a security camera. Doesn't sound like much, but the margins are quite thin.
The other thing is the cost of developing new menu items. On average, it takes about $50 per menu item (the cost of wasted ingredients), but could be a lot more if the item requires new equipment (anything from plastic containers to milk frothers to industrial mixers).
Don't get me wrong, I knew these things cost money, I just didn't expect them to cost as much as consistently, to the point where I have to make them a permanent part of my budget.

All trainers need to develop a basic knowledge set about training, functional anatomy, biomechanics, etc. But other things can help grow your career, as well. Here are 5 unexpected keys to growing your career and your income.
- Develop Yourself as a Person
Beyond knowing your stuff as a trainer, remember clients are also human beings. Their interests usually go beyond protein intake and hypertrophy. :-) So go to a play at least once. Stay updated on current events. Read a book that isn't about training. Make yourself more interesting. The broader your interests, the more likely you are to connect with others.
- Be 100% Reliable
I have seen some very talented trainers sabotage themselves through the years. They might cancel sessions on a Monday after a weekend in Vegas. They might occasionally be a few minutes late for sessions. This can break the bond of trust with the client. Try to become the most reliable person you know.
- Be Willing to Ocassionally Drop a Client
This one might be counterintuitive but I have found it to sometimes be a necessity. When I have had a client that I totally dread, it first caused me to dread their session and then eventually dread the entire day of their session. That's obviously a huge issue if you don't deal with it. If you only have a few clients or if you are forced to take clients where you work, this one can be tough. Consider discussing it with your boss and try to find a solution. But if you have developed a clientele, taking this step can be an unexpected key to a successful career
- Pay Attention to Your Clients' Responses
Have you found your clients respond more to certain phrases than others? Do their eyes roll back in their head when you start to explain thoracic mobility or do they seem to get it? Do some clients respond to explanations and some simply want to exercise? Whatever your answers, I have found it helpful to observe how clients respond (or not) to different teaching and coaching cues. If something works, do more of it. If it doesn't seem to work, discard it or try to adjust it. Always be experimenting with communication and coaching cues. Always be growing. Never stand still.
- Try to Learn from Other Service Industries
When you go to a restaurant, what makes you happy with your server? Attentiveness, friendliness, hustle? Whatever it is, there are probably lessons you can apply in your training. Adopt this attitude whenever you visit any service business and be on the lookout
