A list of puns related to "Under Jolly Roger"
Thoughts? I only heard about it today, apparently it's available on Xbox and Switch.
This used to be one of my honey holes, but it looks like they've joined the crowd and starting heavily marking up bottles. GTS was $400, THH was $300, ORVW was $275. This was as of yesterday evening, so don't blame me if you drive 3 hours for nothing. Please be kind and post if you clear the shelves.

When I was a kid playing this game, I was near the wall somewhere in the bay when I suddenly just encountered what looked like Bubba. It moved toward me, and I just swam away as quick as I could, and I've never been able to find that fish again. For the life of me, I can't figure out if I simply mistook one of the small fish they place in pretty much every body of water that was close to the "camera", or if the game somehow loaded an enemy from another level in by mistake. It sure didn't look like one of the small fish you see everywhere at the time. Has anyone else ever had something like that happen?

As always, thank you for reading.

Iβd been there since the start.
There was this thing about being made up of the psychic consciousness of a species, it depended on who was viewing it. Once religion became codifying what βItβ was, the form became more distinct as time went on. It wasnβt necessarily my choice to appear as a figure in a black hood wielding what was normally a farming tool, or being mistaken for Life and her multiple echoes as guardian of the species we both took charge of.
I came to terms with more often than not being the Jolly Roger, Grim Reaper, the Old Man come to take his due, scythe in hand. I was eternal. There would always be death. The little counter I kept around my wrist tracked every soul that passed through the needle of my eye.
History spanned thousands of years, but there was one earmarked section which was especially troubling. The first time, millions within the span of a few years died.
I had consoled Life as she wept. I was far from Jolly as I watched the world of two-legged things slaughter each other at a rate much too quickly, quicker than ever before. Poison gases, things that belched metal with fire, machines once used to make things better twisted into terrible forms.
Things seemed to get better until the same thing happened again. Two, three times the carnage, maybe even more in the span of a few years. It was not as if there were no room in the smoking, non-smoking, or waiting lobby portions of the afterlife. Yet, even an eternal aspect of a species such as I can feel sadness when this magnitude of suffering brought so many so quickly through the gates to afterlife.
Life was practically beside herself. She became sick after two flashes of light so bright the blind could see them. The poison still stings every so often. Then they started making more, hoarding them within the earth we both watched over. We could only hope that things got better, the powers that be preventing us from interfering. We held each other as these weapons of mass destruction were poised to rip us apart.
Then my counter slowed.
They stopped killing each other as much.
More came to me in their sleep or through sickness much too early before they had yet to bloom. Even those turned to a trickle passing through after a while.
Life was beside herself again, but only because she needed another echo, then another, to help handle all the wonderful things that were now sprouting up around her.
One day I simply took a few souls a

In short, the three skulls represent the 3 people who constitute Marshal D. Teach. The 8 crossbones tips are Oda's foreshadowing for Blackbeard's Next Devil Fruit: Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: Yamata no Orochi. Each tip indicates the head of the Orochi.
The first time we heard about Blackbeard was on Drum Island in Chapter 132.
And in that same arc appeared an akuma no mi user with the power of "joined" people, Wapol the user of Baku Baku no Mi.
Chessmarimo is a fusion of Chess and Kuromarimo, created by Wapol's Baku Baku Factory.
Sanji comments that Kuromarimo is simply standing on Chess' shoulders and only their clothes were fused. Oda, however, treats Chessmarimo like it is one entity.
A more experienced user, who managed to put Baku Baku no Mi to a different use, was involved in the creation of BlackBeard. There is an indication that Blackbeard is more than one person sharing a body in Chapter 225.
Blackbeard attacked Drum to get the power of the Baku Baku no Mi, he wanted to get the power of Wapol. He attacked the Kingdom of Drum when he was getting used to the powers of the Yami Yami no Mi, he already knew he could βsplit upβ, but he wasn't sure if he would be able to "gather together" again. While he was still inexperienced with using his Devil Fruit no Mi, he wanted to have a guarantee and would give the Wapol's power to one of his own crew so he could " gather " again.
Marshall D. Teach is 3 people combined and the 3 Skulls in his Jolly Roger is an indication of that.

...that the two smileys, the happy and sad smiley, is an allusion to the Hindu fire god Agni.
Agni's two faces represent the duality of fire, the ability to create, to forge, to be able to purify things, providing heat while being capable of equal amounts of destruction to others and to self.
I've heard this mentioned in Smite's (game) god reveal video for Agni, but only today did it strike me.
