A list of puns related to "Ultra high temperature processing"
Did this just start happening with the update? Don't remember seeing this before, I get CHT High Temperature on the display all the time now.
Fortune struck me in the form of an EVGA RTX 3060 Ti FTW3 Ultra from the Newegg shuffle. But after using the card for two days, I've noticed two issues:
Are any of these signs my card is defective and/or likely to suffer an early failure? (Ideally I prefer keeping my GPUs for at least 3-4 years before upgrading). I am using the stock fan profile and the card hasn't given me any errors or crashes so far. If anyone else with the same model card can chime in with their experience, I would appreciate any input!
Update: For anyone having similar issues, I was able to resolve the high idle temperatures by switching the "Power management mode" setting from "Maximum performance" to "Normal" in the Nvidia control panel. Idle temperatures are down to the low 40s. Fan still clicks when spooling up, but its less annoying now.
Doing further testing, removing the side panel on my case sees my temperatures drop by about 4 C. With the side panel on, temperatures while gaming are still getting around 84 C.
Hey!
Last week I purchased an RTX 2060 KO Ultra, and I'm getting some great performance from it. From what I've heard, EVGA cards seem to run hotter than most graphics cards, but I'm a bit concerned about my temperatures under heavy load.
When playing modern games on high settings, I'm getting temps of about 80-85C under load. Generally it averages between the two. I do have two intake fans, 1x 140mm and 1x 120mm, and 1x 120mm exhaust fan.
Anyways, I guess I just wanted to see if these temperatures should be expected and what sort of temperatures others with the card are getting. Is it better to let the card reach 85C or crank the GPU fans to max once I hit low 80's? I do have a smaller case which is likely why, but I feel like my airflow is pretty good.
Any input or thoughts would be appreciated, thank you!
Hydrochemolyticβ’ processing at low temperatures: a new way of processing Bitumen and heavy oils, was from Aduro Clean Technologies Inc. Technologies.
Of note during the Q&A:
Commercial-ready reactor for Jan 2022, on-target.
They are in discussions with a major crude company.
Aduro will be ready to demo the pilot reactor to commercial clients in Jan 2022, this is right from Ofer in the posted video presentation. 1-hour mark more or less. They also have a heavy oil player looking closely at them. 1:03:00 mark more or less. Have a watch, it's a great presentation. Cost of Diluent to transport Canadian Bitumen: $5.3MM USD per day. This is around the 39-minute mark in the video presentation. That's roughly a $2 Billion USD annual addressable market only for Canada
Not to take away from the fact that some people risk something of theirs to go on interviews to shed light on something we should know about.
But while I am listening to them, I couldn't help but wonder why does it always seem like they just sped up sound and then slowed it down so it lost the timbre and detail, then all we have left is rather uncanny and inhuman? When AI can read news to us with a remarkable human-like voice, when will we get the technology that the whole interview is replaced by a substituted voice?
I'm not quite sure what's causing this at-all but lately, I'd say over the past 2-days I've been noticing my 3080Ti increasing in temps by a fuck ton and also, the total wattage used has increased by an awful lot also.
Now, I bought the hybrid kit for this GPU a little while ago and it's been running like an absolute dream for the past 2-3 months, so I don't think it could have failed already, or at-least I hope it hasn't.
I've just come off playing Escape from Tarkov for 30 minutes. My GPU whilst at 66% fan on the front facing fan and 100% fan on the AIO fans was still hitting 66c - 68c on my GPU while also hitting 350-400w of total power consumption on the GPU.
Just last week, I was never even passing 60 or very rare if it did ever pass 60c and if it did, it would linger around 60/61c, even my IDLE temperatures have increased, which is odd. I really don't know what the issue could be to be honest. I'm currently in the process of reverting my NVIDIA drivers and seeing if that has anything to do with it but it I doubt it.
Anyone else experiencing something similar at the moment?
My undervolt is currently: 1935/1950Mhz @ .950mV
If you don't like motion blur, you already disabled motion blur in your settings. There is additional motion blur that appears in Post-Processing in High and Ultra settings.
Set Post-Processing to medium or lower to remove the additional motion blur (cinema blur I think?).
