A list of puns related to "Udon Thani"
just wondering if they are still there. since big inflatable yellow ducks seem to be quite closely linked to the anti government stuff.

I haven't heard much about Udon Thani other than that it's in Issan.
I have been offered a job in Udon Thani making almost double what I make now, but is it worth it? Thinking about doing it just for the experience.
What kind of life can I live there?
I'm 27 with no wife/kids if that makes a difference.
How is it to live in udon for expats especially young ones? I am planning on studying thai and found out they have a uni in udon that have courses. Is it like living in Chiang mai but less tourists or more like living in a small city like for example Phetchaburi?
Do you think it is better to study in bangkok? Is udon a town only likeable if you only have relatives there or is it charming like Chiang mai? I have heard there is alot of vietnamese and chinese expats. Like what is the neigborhoods? is there a hipster/young one or for example a touristy one?
Does anyone know a good website for figuring out the Thai train system, I was meant to fly to Udon Thani but I got an ear infection and donβt think flying is a good idea! But trying to figure the train schedule or if there is even a train going that way due to the covid closures? If the train isnβt option does anyone understand how youβd get a letter to drive out of province?
Thanks for the help!
I'm 42(M). Came up here because of COVID. The isolation is getting to me. Looking for something to do.
I've been doing some research and these cities are very intriguing to me because they seem like wonderful places to live and experience a different side of Thailand. Good food, people, and nature. If you have lived in one of these places, can make a suggestion on where I should stay next in Thailand? So far I've lived in Hat Yai, CM, Trang, Bkk, Nan, and Krabi. Can't wait to go somewhere new.
How long does it take to get to Udon Thani airport from Thai Embassy in Vientiane? Do you think I can be in time to get on 18:15 flight after I'll get my passport with a new visa?
Thank you!
Hi was wondering what's the best way to get from Udon to Pai.
Is there a nice bus to Pai?
Am I better off flying to Chiang Mai then getting a bus?
Just wondering what the options areπ
I've spent a couple of months in Chiang Mai and would love to see more of northern Thailand. I was thinking of renting an apartment (or maybe just a hotel room) for a month or so in another city.
I've been thinking mostly about Udon Thani, but maybe also Chiang Rai or Nong Khai.
I don't speak Thai at all which isn't really a problem in Chiang Mai. What about in some of the other cities listed above? Do you think there would be a significant language barrier?
