A list of puns related to "Tunisian crochet"
Iβm considering learning Tunisian crochet (Iβm currently intermediate at standard crochet & beginner at knitting). I prefer making wearables, like hats or headbands, mittens and sweaters, scarves, etc.
Iβve heard that Tunisian is best for blankets because that the fabric is much thicker than standard crochet. Iβve heard that knitting is the best for sweaters/cardigans because the fabrics are thinner and use less yarn.
Can I hear some opinions on this? Is Tunisian good for wearables as well or is this not the right craft for me if thatβs my goal? Thanks!
I love following pattern designers on Instagram and see what they are working on. Besides TL Yarn, Detroit Knots, and Kay Krochets, any other tunisian designers I should keep my eyes on??

Yarn Andy has released a new video tutorial for a nice capelet / mini shawl worked in Tunisian crochet.
There is a written pattern too. It's being featured in the January "Blog Hop" and it's today's featured design so you can get 50% off the written pattern today with a special discount code that apparently expires in 24 hours.
Mode Bespoke has released a new YouTube tutorial showing how you can make custom fit Tunisian crochet socks. She also has a blog post about it.
She says there is no written pattern to accompany the video because this is just a general method showing you how to make your own custom size of sock for your own specific measurements. She does have two sock patterns available though, if anyone prefers to use a written pattern.
This looks like another great sock tutorial from Mode Bespoke! She is great at socks!
I have seen videos of brioche using a normal hook but then so called tunisian brioche stitch using a tunisian hook... Am I missing something?!
