A list of puns related to "Tripwire Interactive"
"Proud of #USSupremeCourt affirming the Texas law banning abortion for babies with a heartbeat. As an entertainer I donβt get political often. Yet with so many vocal peers on the other side of this issue, I felt it was important to go on the record as a pro-life game developer."

Tripwire Interactive Developed Killing Floor, Maneater, Rising Storm, and published Killing Floor 2, Rising Storm:Vietnam, and others. It has had that president for 16 or so years, and it's unlikely they'll be removed as they're also the co-owner.
But if these devs and presidents and what not are gonna get 'political', I'm all for it. I'm all for telling other gamers and consumers their views as they say them, cause an informed consumer base is a necessity, isn't it?
I created an account on Tripwire's forums for KF2, but have yet to get a confirmation email or have the ability to post. It has been at least a few days now. Are they no longer working or something?
TWI's actions lately are cause for concern. They're money grabbing at any turn with a lack of effort put in to quality, especially on RS2 which has been sucked dry but almost just as bad on KF2. Is something is up with the company itself do you think? I've never got the impression the Shark game was going to be a big title, kind of just an inbetweener game that might make its development costs back not much more. TWI seem to have gone all out on it instead of focus on building a franchise that has a longer lasting impact. At least with KF/RS you can take it to new places, unlike the Shark game, which is Epic Exclusive too.
This is an amazingly fast response from developers. I wish more development studios cared about their own games like this.
This was the first reported incident of the new hack: http://steamcommunity.com/app/35450/discussions/0/616198623983384300/
And just about 24 hours later, they released a new patch addressing it: http://steamcommunity.com/app/35450/discussions/0/616198900637990474/
What happened was that a group of hackers started joining a bunch of servers, insta-killing everyone in the game and then kicked everyone with a message popping up saying "You have been VAC banned from this game".
I personally made sure to notify Tripwire about the hackers immediately after learning about it. They started looking into the issue right away and actually decided to work on their day off (today) to patch the problem the hackers were exploiting.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Tripwire, they are a relatively small indie studio located in Georgia (the state). They are the developers of both the Red Orchestra and Killing Floor series. It just surprises me that a small indie studio can address issues with their games like this when much larger AAA studios fail to ever address many large issues with their games even months after being released.
This is the sort of behavior we need to encourage more from development studios.
TL;DR: Hackers ruin RO2 by kicking everyone out of servers and scaring them with fake VAC bans, then Tripwire patch out their exploit just 24 hours later.

Yesterday, the game, Killing Floor 2, was released on Steam Early Access. It was discovered that the game's EULA gave Tripwire Interactive the right to ban anyone for abusive behavior or cyberbullying. This is what the EULA says:
>We also will not tolerate anyone using the game, or any servers or forums provided for the game, to be continually or repeatedly abusive to other players. This includes, but is not limited to, "griefing", racist bigotry, sexism or any other forms of "cyber bullying". We will also not tolerate anyone hosting servers for the game where such behaviors are continually or repeatedly allowed to take place.
>If we find you are a Cheater or Abusive, we will revoke your CD key and ban you from the KF2 servers and tell your mom! Your license will automatically terminate, without notice, and you will have no right to play KF2 or any KF2 Mods against other players or make any other use of KF2. End of story.

I found it interesting since I do not know of any EULAs that mentions cyberbullying as a reason for a ban.
Also, there are people on the Steam Discussion area that are upset about this:

Seriously kudos. We should start a petition for a scrake themed boss :P
Edit: Wow this kind of blew up, thanks for all the responses! :D
