A list of puns related to "Townships of Myanmar"
Vanessa Smallwood missing from Burlington TWP NJ. Last seen 1/27/14 at a dry cleaner in Cherry Hill NJ. Cell phone last pinged in Clayton NJ, during the time period of her initial disappearance. Many theories were discussed, including here on Reddit, but the local & FBI investigations seemed to have exhausted themselves. On 1/16/2020 a dive team was contracted to remove debris to avoid problems with shipping traffic in the Salem River off the shore of the city of Salem. The divers discovered a mangled vehicle that appeared to contain human remains. The vehicle ( silver 2005 Chrysler Town & Country ) was pulled out of the river and was initially too damaged to identify. However, in just about 24 hours investigators have confirmed the identity of those remains as Vanessa Smallwood. Cause of death not yet revealed however comments by Law Enforcement do not seem to indicate foul play. No additional info at this time. Link to story included below. Thoughts?
I am currently reading Trevor Noahs book "Born a Crime" where he describes his childhood home of Soweto, he writes that Soweto(and other places like it) was purposly built by the government to put down riots. This included only having two roads in and out to limit the peoples abilities to move out and having it built in a way that was easy for the air force to bomb.
This is very interesting but i cant find any good sources for it, does anyone have any recomendations on what to read about this design?
Heyo good people!
In this latest update, we've got the first part of some fixes to archery! This is something that's been fluctuating in experience a fair bit, and we wanted to bring it to a level where shooting is more reliable. This has spawned some internal discussions on where we can improve some of the existing archery systems, that we'll tackle when we get the chance.
First and foremost, the 'bow' side of the equation has been greatly improved. You shouldn't experience shakiness or glitching when pulling back the bow anymore. That being said, there weren't too many changes made to how arrows behave and work. This is the next part of the equation that needs changes on how reliable the arrow's impact is, so bear with us on that for now.
Sol has also addressed some of the pain of the arrow crafting process by allowing you to cut feathers into fletching. This means you get much more bang for your buck when you kill those Spriggulls.
And another REALLY fun part is the return of the slingshot! Whilst Joel was fixing the archery things, the slingshot was also made to work! Slingshots aren't as fully implemented in the game as other things, it will break without showing signs of wear and isn't craftable with grass the same way bows are. We weren't super focused on the slingshot enough to add those steps to acquiring it. You can get a slingshot by finding the chiselling recipe, though!
Anyway, here are the notes!
UPDATE 0.0.51.0
I was just in South Africa for a week near Joburg, and saw the contrast between the neighborhoods; houses/complexes with walls and barbed fences, and townships of shacks.
Why do townships still exist in South Africa? I heard most of the people who live in them are black; blacks are 80% of the country. What percentage of them still live in townships vs have moved to nicer places since apartheid ended?
