I was introduced to Tool in 12th grade. At the time I was a HUGE Linkin Park fan. I liked Tool but I wasn’t fully hooked until I saw the Fibonacci video for Lateralus and realized they were making music on a whole other level that was worth diving deep into. By the end of my freshman year of college, I rarely listened to Linkin Park anymore.
Saw DFV’s final update and instantly knew I’d made the right decision.
Don’t get me wrong, Tool has some good rhythms here and there, but I find most of their music boring and pretentious and if I were to choose between ONLY two bands to listen for a week (Radiohead and Tool), I’d EASILY choose Radiohead. I’d MUCH RATHER listen to Radiohead than Tool.
And the reason I’m saying this is because three of Tool’s studio albums (Undertow, Lateralus and 10,000 Days) JUST received new RIAA Certifications, so YES THEY ARE GREATLY OVERRATED.

Tool is by no means a bad band. In fact, the people who make up the band are very talented musicians. Despite this, the band has never really done much for me with the exception of "Sober". When I heard that Tool released new music, I decided to give a listen to the title track from Fear Inoculum. To be honest, I found the song incredibly boring and tedious, and throughout its 10 minute duration, I couldn't help but think "shit, when is this song going to end?".
On a completely different note, I really don't like it whenever people call Tool a metal band. Metal is my favorite music genre, and I think I've listened to enough metal by now to confirm that Tool isn't metal. I'm not trying to be an elitist by saying this, nor am I saying that a band has to be metal to be good, but Tool just isn't metal. They're alt rock with influences of prog. Given this, I couldn't help but cringe when I saw that Loudwire put Tool in their top 10 metal bands. If they wanted to include something on the proggier side on their list, they should have included something like Dream Theater or Opeth instead.
Last but not least, I can't stand Maynard James Keenan. I dislike everything about this guy from his vocals, to his outfits, to his giant ego. The rest of the guys in the band are fine, but man do I hate Keenan.

If you fast forward to about 5:00 minutes and just watch for couple seconds it becomes clear there's lots of power to simulate different strategies.
Anyone know of a similar tool? Doesn't have to be free, I don't mind paying, just not $80/month like this wallstreet.io. I'm playing around with tradingview but only see the ability to do these simulations with custom code.
I checked, and nowhere does it say if the bands (80, 220, etc.) that came with my Work Sharp Knife & Tool Sharpener Mk.2 are JIS standard or FEPA. And if, as suspected, they are FEPA, I guess they are FEPA-P and not FEPA-F?

Edit: Apple will want to void your warranty if you tell them this is the problem. If you find it, simply file a trouble ticket, NEVER tell them you opened them with a SIM tool.
I’ve had the Space Gray models for nearly a couple months now. They had the most bizarre disconnection issues. Included with the deep sleep wake issue, and some others, the auto detection issue, there also seemed to be periods where they would never engage, or start up correctly, unless I put them into the case.
Even the slightest movement to adjust them on my head would create a disconnect, reconnect. I thought I was losing my mind. The normal tech support from Apple had me, reset, reconnect, etc. Which did work, sometimes, but this issue was never resolved in support.
I read online about someone using a SIM tool to disconnect the ear ups and clean the connections. I found this fried connection on one side. I flipped it around to the opposite ear cup, and it would break connection with the slightest adjustment to that cup. I’m going to take these into an Apple Store where I already have an open ticket for some “random disconnection issue”.

I Just Listened to Wings for Marie 1&2 for the first time and it made me have a breakthrough I didn’t know I needed. My Grandpa Recently lost his battle with cancer he was 54and Seeing him suffer and get more and more sick and depressed was some of the worst things I’ve seen and this song has helped me so much I’m Currently crying Writing this but it made me realize In the end His suffering is over he’s at peace. I’m so thankful for this song as I’m finally feeling more content with what happened to My Grandfather. I bottle up my emotions so I can be there for my family but I’m sitting in My bedroom alone just listening to this Song and i haven’t cried this hard ever it’s such a Beautiful song. Sorry for rambling have an amazing day and make sure you tell those you love how much they mean to you
