A list of puns related to "To Violate the Oblivious"
I finally created my account after lurking anonymously for a few months, and I would love to get some insight about what's going on. I think this is going to be long and I'm sorry about that, but I also need to get this out of my chest, this is the first time I'm talking about it.
My husband is a bodybuilder and he spends a lot of time in the gym working out. When our schedule matches, I work out with him and I've met some of his gym friends, most of them are great, but there are 2 guys that are really sexists are are always making really inappropriate jokes about women.
Guy1 and Guy2 aren't bodybuilders, but they like to train hard, so they often train together. When I'm training with them, they behave very nice around me, but as soon as I turn around I've seen they sharing looks, talking about other women and if they realize that I noticed, they will just laugh about it and say that it's just a joke.
Lately my husband has been acting like a wing men for those guys, so he's making more girl-friends. I never had a problem with that specially because I always had more guy-friends than girl-friends, and I really believe in friendship between men and women, also as far as I know, my husband never disrespected me and he never gave me reason to suspect that he could cheat on me.
But the problem is that he doesn't realize when a woman is interested on him. A few months ago, he met this Woman at the gym. She had just moved to our city, didn't have any friends, so she began to train the same time as Husband, Guy1 and Guy2. She was introduced to the guys, they exchanged phone numbers, and she seemed ok, until the day that Husband came home and told me:
"Honey, Guy1 just told me that Woman is interested in me, can you believe that? He said that she's just waiting for me to make a move or ask her out, haha. I guess she doesn't know I'm married"
I didn't worry much about it and asked what he was going to do about it. He asked me what I would do in his place and I told him to just make things clear between them, and if she was really a nice person, she would respect him and back off or apologize and start acting just like a friend.
He asked me if I would be ok if they remained friends after that, and I assured him that I would be fine, as long as it was an honest mistake from her part. So, next day comes, he talks to her, she apologizes and insists that she doesn't have a lot of friends and she didn't want to stop working out with them, if that would be ok. He w

If I'm at my camp and someone arrives, if I'm not in a middle of crafting/fixing/modding/restocking, I will greet the newcomer and occasionally drop them a small welcome treat (beer, stimpack, food etc.)
I try to cater for every level of a visitor, so I frequently sell reasonably prized searched after legendaries (unyielding, bolstering, assassins, junkie, two shot etc), cheap meds, hard to find clothes, rare plans, and searched after ammo. (5mm, 5.56, round .50 cal, normally prized 1 cap, but if I'm temporarily tight on caps myself, might rise the prize for ONE type of ammo to 2caps for a while)
I have one vendor machine, where I have placed freebies. Normally I place here some free food, water, common plans, 38 ammo etc. Common plans to my experience is also the ultracite plans that keep dropping from Queen fights.
Now to my amazement, more than often I've been visited by +200 level player, running through my base gun drawn out, ignores my greet, goes through my vendor machines, takes everything from the freebie vendor (like 6 plans for ultracite left arm, 20 boiled water and 6 plans for rug) and f*cks off.
Really? You were in a dire need of multiple copies of more than common plans? And in such a hurry that couldn't wave/give thumbs up/puke/whatever? Or close the doors after you, so that if I did not happen to be in my camp, more than likely soon some roaming ghouls/super mutants/bloodbugs wander inside my building and start to tear shit up since there is not some kind of obstacle anymore preventing them entering?
I guess these people are roleplaying as a trash collectors of Appalachia. They swoop in to your camp, remove items that you have put out obviously so cheap that you must want to get rid of them in bulk, do not want to disturb you by greeting since they have a long and busy route to run, and have more important things in their minds to bother with such frivolous concepts than doors.
From Wikipedia: "A door's essential and primary purpose is to provide security by controlling access to the portal (doorway)."
Anyone else noticed similar quests?
Tl;dr: Try not to be a c*nt
For me, this has to be one of the most perplexing quotes from Forrest.
Here's the full quote:
"Searchers have routinely revealed where they think the treasure was hidden and walked me through the process that took them on that course. Thatβs how I know a few have identified the first two clues. Although others were at the starting point I think their arrival was an aberration and they were oblivious to its connection with the poem." FF
How could a searcher could be at the starting point (WWWH) and be unaware of it's connection with the poem? To me, that means:
For a long time I thought WWWH might have nothing to do with actual warm water, however some audio released recently might have changed my mind.

This leaves me thinking that WWWH probably is an actual thermal feature with literal warm water that you could dip your toe in to feel its tempera
... keep reading on reddit β‘It's been well over one week, almost two full weeks. Dota's S.A(South America) server is intermittently unresponsive and nobody seems to know what's wrong. 1 in every 3 matches features over 7(or more) players randomly disconnecting and unable to return to the game, immediately rendering the match safe to leave. This is especially infuriating in ranked matches.
It is not only that. Last weekend the entirety of south america could not even find a match due to a downright unusable matchmaking system. Plus, when I say "last weekend" I mean the whole weekend was affected, 48 hours and more without service. This is unacceptable.
Every now and then my friends and I boot up the game and Dota 2's game coordinator won't even activate. We have to wait anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes to see the game in an operational state again, only to join a match and have people DCing left and right all over the place.
Come on! I've been playing this game since 2012. Never had to deal with such bullshit before. Valve, what the hell is going on? The south american community is extremely displeased with this. I can barely enjoy ranked matches anymore because everybody simply disconnects and cancels the game.
And so is using the word βspinelessβ to describe his gun control stance.
