A list of puns related to "Tina Burner"
I generally disagree with the general fandom perception of how "rigged" s13 was. Pretty much every season has had the same amount of producer meddling and s13 didn't particularly stand out like that for me. However there was one queen who I felt like production really screwed over in several ways, the robbed queen of the season: Tina Burner.
Tina had an average run on the show; made it pretty far with 7th but never won a challenge and poor runways made her seem worse than she is. Maybe she isn't particularly suited to a format like drag race but I still think she deserved better. I wanna talk about all the instances where I think she was let down by unhelpful critiques, unfair placements and unlikeable editing.
Episode 1: I actually think she comes off really well in the opening. She slays the lipsync against 2 opponents and seems likeable. They also set up a Tina vs RosΓ© storyline which could be fun.
Episode 2: She gets pretty good critiques for both her performance and looks. Her performance was good, but her looks weren't. This may seem like she's being favoured, but in reality all it's doing it setting Tina up to fail by not letting her know the red/orange/yellow combo will get old and turning the audience against her if they feel she is being let off the hook.
Episode 4: She does well in the acting. She deserved safe, perhaps high over RosΓ© or Kandy but it seems fair.
Episode 5: The actual challenge was fine, but in untucked there was the Tamisha vs Kandy fight. Obviously Kandy got the brunt of the hate for this, but both Tina and Gottmik don't come across too well either. They sort of seem like they're inserting themselves for no reason. In general the whole Mean Girls clique kind of goes nowhere, but unlike Kandy and Mik, Tina doesn't really get any other redeeming storylines and just kinda seems arrogant and unaware the whole time.
Episode 6: A continuation of the weird cringy Mean Girls, but Tina did deservingly get a high placement. She really did slay and I wish people would recognise how great she did. But once again, her awful runway wasn't criticised which just turns the audience against her unfairly. It doesn't do Tina any favours either, by not letting her know to try and improve her looks.
Episode 7: She got safe in the improv, which seems fair enough. Again she could have gotten high over Kandy, since she had a really weak scene partner and had to carry it all herself, but no complaints.
Episode 8: Wtf was Tina in the bottom for
... keep reading on reddit β‘I think Tina Burner washed My Humps ngl. Not saying Utica did bad or anything, but I thought Tina did better.

I know she rubbed a lot of people the wrong way during her season, I didn't like her very much, but I've been following her on Instagram & she's made big improvements in her drag. Her makeup is definitely more on point, her padding is portionized, & her performances have looked really fun! I think she deserves a chance to redeem herself.
I feel like both queen did themselves harm by joining the shows.
Tina has been hyped as the comedian camp-queen of NYC who has her own brand while Karen has been hyped by Trixie and the public as the ultimate camp-queen of Australia.
I just wonder what went wrong for them both - with Tina you could kind of guess that yellow/red shtick backfired for her and with Karen - it is like the most invisible/forgettable finalist ever?
I love Tina, she's extremely talented and I've liked her looks so far. THIS IS NOT ME HATING ON HER but I want so badly to see her in a different colour other than red and yellow. I get it's her brand, but oh my god I need the judges to clock her on the constant red and yellow looks. just one time, please π©
I know this has already been talked about but I got my subscription to WOW Presents Plus and Iβm watching S2 of RPDRUK.
Ginny Lemonβs all yellow was so much better than Tina Burnerβs ROY color scheme. Iβm not sure why I like it better. Maybe itβs because not all of it is just the standard color block shades? She incorporates patterns that are all yellow, for example.
