I personally dont play the game but my wife was the one to tell me about it... she wants to start a team but is there much difference between a PVE team and a PVP team? She will not be doing PVP except for the daily quests... so is it worth it if all the "profit" is in PVP?
My questions are:
- PVE team or focus on a PVP team for both?
- Im willing to put in $1000 for her to start learning pay-to-earn games. Is this a good amount to start realizing the more I pay the better it will be until next patch?
- How long does it really take to finish the daily quests with a mediocre team?
- If it takes less than 2-3 hours to finish daily quests... is there a pay-to-earn game that builds farms or something simple like that for the wife?
- She also possibly wants my son to play when she cannot (11yo boy) but does it really take high level strategy to fully play the game?
Im asking in this thread first in parallel of doing research. I thought if I can get assistance and points of views from others... it will help me understand instead of investing money into something blindly. Your advice would be appreciated. For my boy... if I invest money for him to play... him playing this game would be his allowance... so Im hoping that would give him more incentive to play and make something of the game. Especially in the age of staying home because...
EDIT: UPDATE - Thank you for all the info from everyone. But HOLEY CHIT BATMAN... the gas prices to send money to Ronin are freakin crazy right now. I was going to transfer a $1000 and the gas prices were almost 50%. Not worth it and I need to find a better transfer method.
I was thinking about getting a Metro prepaid sim to put into my pixel 2 XL for data only. Can that be done? Does anybody have any other tips for me?
Update: I reached out to u/dmziggy through a Reddit Request. First of, dmziggy got it done! I took me first shot at a 3 hour uninterrupted nap in 48 hours, and woke up to an email from project fi. It stated,

Disclaimer: I'm not someone who works at Extra Life nor Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, I've just decided to step up as a team captain because I thought it'd be a cool idea! This is my second year playing for Extra Life and I'll be free to answer any and all questions everyone may have in the comments!
Extra Life is a charitable program hosted by the Children's Miracle Network and its main premise is gamers raising funds to save children through marathon streaming. Although there is a single "Game Day", the program runs throughout the year and the rules are super flexible! 100% of the money raised during the stream through Extra Life is sent directly to the hospitals that your streamer chooses as "unrestricted funds". This gives the hospital the ability to distribute the funds as needed to their most needed areas, ensuring every dollar has an impact. As the donation button is connected to the Extra Life website, you also won't need to worry about YouTube/twitch/the streamer mishandling any of the donated money. Tax receipts will also be given out after your donation has been made.
As a streamer you are able to pick a hospital under the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals for your money to go to, if you have no specific hospital in mind, you are able to send the money to the Children's Miracle Network for them to redistribute as necessary. I've personally chosen a hospital that I feel indebted to because of how they were able to make some of my worst childhood memories a more bearable one due to the friendly staff and amazing environment they made for children.
