A list of puns related to "The X Files (film)"
I just finished the first five seasons of X Files on Hulu and now I'm onto the first film "Fight the Future"
what do you guys think of it? This is my first full series watch.
The first βX Filesβ movie was released in theaters in the summer of 1998, after the season 5 finale and before the debut of season 6.
Are there other TV shows that had released movies based on their shows while they were still running?
Edit: I was thinking more of recent live-action shows, but there seems to be lot of TV shows (mostly animation) that had released movies while the shows were still on air.
Episodic or serial storytelling is welcome as far as TV shows go, and for film I guess I'm leaning towards the experimental/avant garde side of things.
Need a little help/guidance with where I can find the first X-Files movie online to watch. Netflix is less than accommodating.
Thank you!
I hope right after the series ends, they're able to make a movie out of SPN. A scenario in which an event took place that lead to a reboot to the entire series from the finale of the show. Where now the Winchesters ended up living normal lives from the time of the Apocalypse, but they're not the chosen vessels to Michael and Lucifer this time around. But eventually, Castiel comes back to the boys to remind them of what they once were from their original timeline that they existed in the show and their true destinies on saying "yes" to Michael and Lucifer after all. Then we can finally get the promised epic battle between the two Archangels that'd destroy half the planet with the type of film budget SPN would receive.
Having bought the box set, this episode has impressed me the most so far (still not finished season 1 yet) I've noticed "ice" from season 1 get a lot of praise but Darkness Falls feels like one of those horror outings you could watch again and again. It feels like a horror movie in it's own right, to quote wiki "a stand-alone plot that is unconnected to the series' wider mythology."
It's remote setting (the woods) and "claustrophobia" are reminiscent of the slasher genre. It's almost like the evil dead revival, long before "Cabin in the Woods" Interestingly, like that film, Darkness Falls was also filmed in Vancouver. Brilliant story telling, use of location and suspense. I recommend this one to anyone curious to revisit the series.
The Los Angeles location is really off putting to me and it's not even remotely scary anymore.
The atmosphere in the Vancouver locations were always fantastic and creepy. It fit the show.
The Los Angeles location makes it look like every other horror show on The WB

Should I start watching the X-files?I have always been a fan of creepy, twisted, dark shows (& films) and I enjoy scary thrillers. I have good tolerance for horror.

Hey guys! I'm Bruno Albuquerque, a brazilian Cloververse big fan. In the last year i was working on my second short film, called The Cloverfield Files. I don't know if you guys remember but i made a post in this sub announcing the project (someone even said that i would never finish it. Well, here we are...).
First off we were calling the movie "Miguel and Ana". No one knew it was it going to be a Cloverfield film - we tried to replicate what J.J. used to do with the main movies. We wanted to make an ARG but my friend who would help me with this started a company and didn't had any time for this.
Just watch the movie. It was made with a lot of love and respect with the other movies. Hope you guys enjoy it!
Ps: there's a HUGE surprise at the end. I couldn't even believe that happenned... Tell me what you think about it!!
Ps2: sorry for my bad english haha
Nine year old me would never again have it so good. Can you believe I thought that this was 'normal' for television? Every day of the week my family would have at least one legendary top tier show to watch. Some nights, we had 'blocks' of 2-3 shows in a row. I long for that time.
Can you imagine watching Babylon 5 on one channel, then switching to Deep Space Nine, then getting sodas to hunker down for SeaQuest DSV? And the 'pop shows' like 3rd Rock From the Sun and Early Edition were STILL nominally science fiction! Beyond Reality reruns! Are You Afraid of the Dark late night on Snick! AHHHHHHHHH!
I can't remember the details anymore but I distinctly remember some insane Friday night lineup that went Sliders -> (space show) -> Stargate and I was like huh this TV thing is pretty good! What's this new show? DEXTER'S LAB? Love it! On Cartoon Network? Goku and friends go to Planet Namek! Seems normal for an anime, right? After all, every single other show is sci fi! And the last seasons of the Adventures of Pete & Pete and Tales from the Crypt...
I'm imagining a buddy cop style show, episodic in nature but with overarching character arcs. Each episode would be "beast of the week" style and feature the protagonists dealing with various SCPs and aidi g their containment/research.
Which scps would make the absolute best/most interesting episodes, and why?
Hello I remember checking this sub out a while ago and made a point of coming back to check how it was all going.
Awesome work and getting episode 4 dubbed, so funny!
However, where is the other subtitle files for the other movies? Is it some sort of secret? I can't seem to find them anywhere?
The genuine friendship and comradery they share in the first four seasons makes the show wonderful and it gives more focus to the cases themselves as the interest in the show. As soon as they started to force this ship the show to me declined in quality.
I also really think friendships between men and women even if they hold a shadow of romantic chemistry is better on screen. It seems anytime a show does this with characters is because they have very little else to write. I'll point out despite people thinking that opposites attract Mulder and Scully aren't compatible at all romantically.
They chemistry makes them good partners but I doubt a relationship like that would ever actually work in practice.
The Tashkent Files, the film is seeing the best occupancy amidst all Bollywood films in the running.
Playing at just a little over 250 screens, the film managed to collect 0.35 crores* on its fourth Friday as well which is quite similar to the first Friday [0.40 crores].
The film has managed to survive Kalank and Avengers: Endgame onslaught and is finding audiences of is own.
Currently standing at 11.84 crores*, the film will go past the 13 crores mark before the close of the week
Kalank is closing down though with 0.20 crores more coming in. The film stands at 81 crores currently and should fold up around the 82 crores* mark. Flop.**
My friend was showing me the xfiles because I have never watched it, and during the first episode this coffin at a funeral slips and rolls down a hill and everyone chases after it.
Me "That funeral went downhill fast..." Her "...you're fucking joking right?"
Edit : Apparently not a funeral... exhuming a body. Wasn't paying attention but the sound of the coffin falling caught my attention.
Sorry if i used wrong terms but yall get what im saying right?
I guess in anticipation of the new season on January 3, 2018 Fox has made them free to watch. US region locked. Two season 3 episodes are locked but the rest seem ok.
