A list of puns related to "The Union (The Glorious Sons album)"
Has anyone listened to this album? Sounds like traditional rock music, but kind of has some blues elements throughout the entire album. It was a pretty solid listen for me.
Their groove seems right, and production sounds pretty good. Would be interested to hear other interpretations of this album.
IMO, I would give these guys some credit for bringing good music to the rock genre, which a lot of people seem to say is, hit or miss with good bands. Itβs all subjective, but hard to deny a solid album like this.
Title says it all. Saw these guys on open for The Struts back in December and have been in love with them ever since. Here's the discogs link: https://www.discogs.com/The-Glorious-Sons-The-Union/release/6886803
I can't seem to find it anywhere, so shot in the dark maybe someone here has one they'll part with
It is actually quite counter-productive at this point because of absurd food/pop consumption you get with this population size. My total food production oscillates between +2k and -2k every once in a while.

This happened a few years ago when my son was 6ish. When my kids hurt themselves and it doesnβt look serious I always do the βwe might have to amputate that bruised handβ shtick with them. Iβve done it enough that they now roll their eyes.
So, my son got hit lightly in the face with a rubber ball. It wasnβt a hard hit and I could tell he was more upset by the shock of it rather than the pain. So I say βlooks like we will have to amputate your nose.β To which he replies βthen how will I smell?β And I say βterrible!β
It was my greatest dad joke ever. I felt like I could retire after that.

Hello fellow Blood Angels,
I'm a Age of Sigmar player who wants to start WH40k and due to my love for vampires (I play Soulblight Gravelords in AoS) I've chosen the Blood Angels to be my first 40k army. To be honest I'm pretty lost at the moment because the sheer amount of informations, options and sources is just overwhelming. My goal is to participate in the local gaming groups and tournaments which generally are 1.500 points games.
Would someone be so kind to give me some advice where to start with Blood Angels? As a rule of thumb: I would love to play the BA specific units like Sanguinary Guards and Death Company. What would be a good starting list (1.500 points) from your experience?
Best regards and thank you in advance

The Titan Hunters are a loyalist successor chapter of the Imperial Fists, created during the 13th βDarkβ Founding in the early 36th millennium. While they take inspiration from the Codex Astartes, calling them compliant would be a stretch. This is because their organisation is different and their numbers are higher than would normally be allowed. Nevertheless, due to the critical nature of their deployment and their revered history, the High Lords of Terra, influenced heavily by the Adeptus Mechanicus, have granted dispensation.
The Titan Hunters retain their gene-sireβs love of firepower and fortifications, and thus have the greatest respect for the god engines of war used by the Collegia Titanica. They abhor the fact that so many of these legendary machines fell to the Ruinous Powers during the events of the Horus Heresy, and were thus founded with one overriding objective: to attack, defeat and, if possible, recapture enemy Titans so that they might be returned to the Imperial Fold.
The Titan Hunters do not have a single homeworld, but instead inhabit the three habitable planets around the sun of Paradise, located in Segmentum Obscurus. Aurum, where Chapter Command is situated, is a dynamic and crowded Hive World, filled with administrative facilities; Argentum, where the Chapter Fleet is mostly based, is an intensely productive Forge World, embodying the chapterβs close ties with the Mechanicus; and Aereum is the world of dense forest and vast grassy plains, where most of the chapterβs recruitment and training takes place.
Aereum is home to many large and dangerous species of wildlife, and so it is not surprising that its inhabitants already have a natural propensity for dealing with targets bigger than they. Interestingly, the Titan Hunters maintain no scout company. Instead those neophytes who complete augmentation, including implantation of the Black Carapace, are dropped into one particular forest on the vast planet, called βThe Wailing Woodβ. There they are expected to survive for three years, with supply and weapons drops occurring at sparse intervals so that, over time, they will learn to master every piece of equipment a basic Astartes of the Chapter will need. Amongst these number the bolt pistol, the chainsword, the jump pack and the melta charge.
Should the neophytes survive their ordeal in the Wailing Wood - an achievement only about 40% end up accomplishing - they will be awarded with their suits of power armour, and inducted into one
