With just a few seconds remaking in the 2nd period, Jillian Dempsey got the Pride on the board, scoring shorthanded through a mess of players in front of the Riveters net.
New York would tie the game on a even strength goal 4:20 into the 3rd when the puck squirted into the slot to Emily Janiga.
The Pride then took a cross-checking penalty with just 1:21 left to play in regulation. Dempsey managed to score shorthanded again, 24 seconds later, this time on a odd-man rush.
With 10 seconds left in the game and the NY goalie pulled, Kaleigh Fratkin’s shot from her own defensive zone gave the Pride their 3rd shorthanded goal of the night.
I made Folkwear's Rosie the Riveter shirt and overalls for Halloween this year!
For the shirt, I made the medium size with minimal alterations other than shortening it. I could have made the small because it's HUGE! For the overalls, I graded from medium in the bust and waist to extra large for hips. I probably could have just graded to large for the hips/butt but Folkwear's pattern wasn't super clear on the ease. I also added an underarm dart on the bodice because it had weird wings before that.
Anyway, enjoy! I don't think I look super great in these pictures but I'm glad how the costume turned out overall!
