EDIT: My parents were convinced I was going to be murdered meeting with a βstrangerβ on the internet. Spoiler: they love him now
Though do not want to scare small children.
It's been 6.5 years since this was made, so I'm betting this might be new to some.

This has been one of the most wow factor & immersive things about VR to me and great for showcasing it.
To an extent TumbleVR does it too with its Jenga like block puzzles but obviously the wow factor of the objects is minimalist. Still great to interact with mirrored or glass objects.
WHEW. Itβs ass. I liked the Alt Universe Trek movies a lot (itβs how I got into Trek) but the game is damn near unplayable. I knew the reviews were bad but...I donβt know if I can survive doing this even for the story.
Also Iβm stuck on the first ship to ship battle so Iβm a little salty. Has anyone here finished it? Is it worth finishing?
###The Gamescom 2013 PlayStation Press Conference Thread
(Live Comment Stream of this Thread)
(Formatting hastily stolen from the /r/Playstation thread)
Note: Because the event is looking to be almost 2.5 hours I may not be able to stay and give updates for the entire event. I apologize in advance if I have to bail. (Note update: My source for the 2.5 hour number decided he had his head up his own ass, it might not be anywhere near that long.)
What is it? Gamescom is the largest gaming expo in the world, ushering in over 275,000 visitors, more than 5,500 journalists and 600 exhibitors from 83 countries to the show last year in Cologne, Germany. The Gamescom PlayStation press conference will be held the day before the show opens to the public much like their E3 press conference.
When is it? Today at:
Where can I watch it? There are a few places you can stream it listed below. There are no TV channels carrying the show.

I would like to apologize if this text has any typos or if it's hard to read, English is NOT my primary language. The events were slightly changed to make the story more simple.
I was 13/14 (currently I am 19) when the game Europa Universalis IV was released on PC. I was very naive when I decided to create a community project to help the "great" Brazilian community. I was under the impression that translating a game of that scale (with the help of the community) would be easy. Now, before I get to the choosing beggars part of this story, I have to explain how and why translating Europa Universalis IV and video games of the same genre is different from translating other video games or translating in general. (I'll try to keep it really simple so I won't bore you)
Translating Europa Universalis IV is a hard task because it's frequently updated, meaning that each line of text is often changed with new lines being added and, occasionally, lines being moved to another file from the game. That means that an old translation would often not work properly or even break portions of the up-to-date game. Other inconvieniences are:
-The game has a lot of text.
-It is hard to find the names of certain historical terms /ships /types of armies in portuguese.
-Most people that showed interest in helping me out often disappeared shortly after I gave them their first assignment.
At one point, we had 10 members in our team working on the translation, but during most of the lifespan of the mod, I was working alone. Most members quit because of their work being wasted by the game updates or me disappearing for while because real life issues. That meant people getting angry because the translation wasn't up-to-date or complete.
This first Choosing Beggar Story that happened to me was before I took my first break from translating the game, back in 2014. One day, a person decided to add me on Steam. Let's call this person Mr. Kyle (not his real name or nickname). The following is how I recall the exchange between me and him on steam chat:
> Me: Hello!
> Kyle: Hi!
> Me: What's the reason for you to add me on Steam?
And before you ask, yes, I'm always that direct.
> Kyle: I just wanna give you feedback about some issues that the translation has.
> Me: What issues?
> Kyle: Well the name of the country Vijayanagara in India is called "Bisnaga" ([which is also a name of a bread here in Brazil](http://www.pequenosabor.com.br/site2/wp-content/uploads
... keep reading on reddit β‘So in these times of isolation it is nice to go back and relive some of the glory days. I have been introducing my girlfriend to soccer and she has developed a nice love for it already. I would like to show her the video of the full 2013 MLS Cup final, a game for which i was in attendance with the Cauldron. Would anybody happen to know where I can find it? I would very much appreciate it.
I've been reading the Kelvin comic series and they keep referencing the plot of the video game. I know it wasn't a great game, but does anyone know if it's still available digitally for the PC anymore? I'd like to play it just for the story. Thanks in advance.
I just had an update for it a few days ago and don't see it anyplace? Am I missing something?
Thanks.
I'm new to PS VR and so far I tried the VR worlds, Eagle flight and the VR playroom. Ranking the games: 1- Robot rescue by far is the best 2- London heist 3- Eagle flight
Are there any games similar to robot rescue in terms of gameplay and quality of graphics?

Hi, big challenge here. I live in a building with 500 apartments which has a playroom. It's not managed by the building. They consider it voluntary. The toys are donated or rather dumped by tenants and the only thing the staff does is clean the floor and take out the trash. The room is in its worst condition right now. More toys than space to play. Tons of duplicates, toys in poor condition, toys without their batteries. I would love to tackle this and make it pleasant but I can't begin to guess what the other kids want or not. I don't even know who is using it. I was thinking of putting up signs in the building calling parents to stop by and maybe mark what they play with. Like I'd put a few sticker pages and let people mark with a blue sticker what should be kept. If someone already put a sticker no need to add. After a week we throw anything without a sticker. But is this a good idea? Would anyone here do it differently? I'd love to hear this group's thoughts. Thanks!
The rise of in-app purchase. I haven't experienced the new Forza and GT6 yet, but I don't like the idea of having to pay to unlock what is already in the disk.
Batman: Arkham Origins. This might sparks some disagreement, but I felt disappointed after playing Batman: Arkham Origins. To me, there aren't many significant improvements over the previous 2 titles, the combats are even more frustrating due to combat-rhythm-breaking aspects like Bane's homing charge and so many bugs. There was a change in the setting from a confined island to a desolated, deteriorating city, and now to the same city, albeit cleaner, pre-deteriorate, but no one else on the streets but bad cops, thugs and helpless victims/cops. And finally, after Arkham Origins, I pray that spoiler
A quiet year for Wii U. While Wii U had an advantage in time, in compare with XB1 and PS4, they fail to attract consumers, generating killer exclusives or even attracting big name producers. It's so sad to hear how Wii U is lagging behind and getting low sale, while Nintendo still making great games from their IPs. However, I'm glad they are doing well in handheld gaming.
