Welcome Duelists. The new Raid Duel Event has arrived, and with it, a new Dark Signer! Before we get into the details, it seems there have been some changes to the event:
Raid Duels
- Your "Highest Damage" is now displayed on the Event Page.
- The Earthbound Immortal's Life Points have been adjusted.
- The Earthbound Immortal's level now ranges from 100 to 1000.
- The event item "Earthbound Immortal Beacon" can now spawn a high-level Earthbound Immortal.
Turbo Duels
- The effect of the EX Skill "Remove 8" will now multiply your Synchro monster's ATK by 5 instead of 2.
- The auto-activating Skill "A New Miracle!" has been added. The Skill will play "Majestic Star Dragon" once you have fulfilled the condition.
Event Points
- The Event Points earned in Raid Duels are now earned based on the level of the defeated Earthbound Immortal and the damage dealt to it.
Treasure Box Rewards
- The Earthbound Immortal will drop rarer Treasure Chests at higher levels.
Character Profile
Honestly, this character model is ridiculous, even by Yu-Gi-Oh standards.
Dark Signer Rex Goodwin. Director of New Domino City's Sector Security. Though Goodwin appeared to help the Signers, his goal was to acquire both the Signers and the Dark Signers' power to become the sole leader and end their millennia-long conflict. Using "Sun Dragon Inti", "Moon Dragon Quilla" and "Earthbound Immortal Qiraqocha Rasca", he fought a 3-on-1 Turbo Duel against Yusei, Jack and Crow.

Find the Earthbound Immortal and challenge it to a Duel!
Dueling in Duel World and Ranked Duels will make "Earthbound Immortal Wiraqocha Rasca" appear. Use Dark Signer Vestiges to Duel the Earthbound Immortal from the event page. The Earthbound Immortal has a massive amount of Life Points, so you will be teaming up with Duelists

Good lord. I mean, good Lord Beerus. This new Beerus is something else entirely. It's kinda funny just how ridiculously powerful they made Beerus, but it should be this way. Finally, we have a Beerus card that actually FEELS like a proper God of Destruction. And boy, will he be a destroyer.
Let's start with the basics, a free dupe Beerus, and even this is pretty nutty. A free dupe Beerus, without taking an attack first (aka that extra 70% goes by the wayside), and the basic links (Fierce Battle and Godly Power). With these in hand, Beerus' baseline is a very impressive 1,609,574. Over 1.5 million with the minimum? And it only goes up from here. If Beerus does, in fact, take an attack first, his power will break the 2 million barrier and hit for 2,060,252. And while we're here, why don't we active the rest of Beerus' links, by linking him with his LR counterpart, and raise him to 2,377,229.
This is insane, and we're barely scratching the surface of what he can do. For example, that new Whis that is coming out alongside of him can offer a whopping 50% ATK support. This is made even more devastating an addition when you consider that all of Beerus' boosts are calculated in the attacking phase, meaning support buffs are far more immense. And 50% is a ridiculous and rare number to get from support, meaning that, with Whis, as well as full links from Beerus and Whis, this still free dupe Beerus can hit for...
3,565,817.
But wait, there's more!
Don't forget that Beerus builds ATK over time with his Super Attack. And he has an active skill boost. Since the active skill can't be activated until turn 4, let's consider him to have had at least 2 supers (which raises his output from the previous number to 3,832,421). Now, I don't have much experience calculating active skill boosts, which means this might end up wrong, but the way I understand it, active skills apply directly to the unit's output, separate from passives entirely. So, given that Beerus' output is nearly 4 million, when we make it 50% stronger, then Beerus should end up around...

And if we consider that Beerus will have rainbow type advantage against all enemies when using his active skill, that is essentially another 1.5x boost to the damage, bringing his damage up to a level of 8,622,947.

I think bans are overkill, taking away the ranks and armor with a warning is sufficient, perhaps a ban from the next double XP to put them at a disadvantage.
Considering so so many games have afk people in them it would do more harm than good to ban them permanently.

Considering that we live in the age of retcons, reveals, etc where the secrets of the setting are wholesale dragged into the open and older fluff demolished for the sake of the new and improved, I am little curious.
What possible retcon or reveal will make you think that GW crossed the line? What change to the setting's lore would you wholeheartedly refuse?
The "Psychic Awakening" and the rest of the Siege of Terra books are coming. Each promising mindblowing reveals and changes. So might as well prepare ourselves for it.
