I mean I think it would be pretty badass to have a mode or lobby the really makes the world important to the player. Just kind of spit balling but would anyone be interested in a type of mode where you have to trek across the unforgivable west, or maintain a small settlement town, where player cooperation is vital?
In school I remember playing it and always losing. Now that I’m older and have more practice I tried it, only winning after 20 or so attempts (Columbia River minigame is shit.) However, have you ever beaten the game? I might just be bad

Who else here thinks that rockstar games should make an updated oregon trail game, with graphics akin to Red Dead Redemption 2
I’m a child of the 80s so perhaps I’m biased, but I think it would be amazing to use the “free roam” aspects of this game like hunting, fishing, fighting off wolves and ambushes, etc to create a modern Oregon Trail.
I dunno, flame away if you must. But I think it would be great.

Other details: I actually remember a lot about this game, I saw a YouTuber play it as well. Basically, at the beginning of the game you're shown a shot of a house and at the bottom it shows 4 names, 2 females and 2 males, the 2 males have the status of AWAY, one female has the status of ALIVE, and another has the status of DEAD. When the game starts you walk through the woods (to the left of the screen) until you reach another house with a fireplace, a ghost appears and her character art when she talks shows a bullet wound where her eye should be, she asks where your gun is and then she chases you back to the first house. The next day a preacher comes and he has these really big claws/hands and you have to shoot him once, avoid him to grab the box of ammo on the ground and then shoot him again to kill him. Then I think the game ends, but I'm not really sure. Anyone know what game this is?
