A list of puns related to "The Mysterious Ailment of Rupi Baskey"
In my life's journey to becoming my mother and mother-in-law, I recently got this neat hummingbird feeder, right before remembering we're not supposed to feed songbirds right now because of a strange bird ailment that apparently started in my region and is now going around the US.
After a little more research, it doesn't sound like any hummingbirds have been afflicted with this illness (it's been "mostly fledgeling grackles and blue Jays," apparently), but I'm still questioning whether it's responsible to introduce a new feeding and congregation zone here while this is going on, even if it's only for hummingbirds, which haven't (so far) been affected.
Half of me is sure there's no problem putting it out since it's just for hummingbirds, but the other half of me feels like I don't really know enough to say that (especially when my region seems to have been ground zero for this whole thing).
As more experienced bird enthusiasts, what is your take on all of this? Have y'all been continuing to fill your hummingbird feeders as you normally would, or do you think it's best to avoid feeding them while this mystery ailment is still sorting itself out?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I hope this doesn't break rule number 2, I'm just looking for help. I've been experiencing bizarre chest pains the past couple weeks and doctors are unsure it's cause. My friends said that it sounded similar to what jerma's been having and while we don't know the full extent of jerma's condition they do seem similar. I know contacting jerma through any official means is kind of impossible so I'm here to see if anyone here knows anything. I appreciate any help and if not that's completely fine, I'm a bit out of options.
Sorry to go where others have gone before, but here is a fair (i think) takeβ¦
She is to poets as memers are to stand up comics. I think the vast majority of us can come up with a bitesize sample of a thought/feeling, or a funny joke/quip, and a compliation of these could be an entertaining experienceβ¦
But to tie a larger story together with tact and intention, in either a T.S. Eliot poem or a Norm MacDonald elaborate joke/punchline, is such a strong expression of skill and talent.
Now if people subjectively like Rupi Kaur, as many do, thats a-okay - but sheβs as nutritious and memorable as a Big Mac. Whereas, something like When Great Trees Fall by Maya Angelou is a revelatory and full course of emotion that you remember forever - and is universal.
Disclaimer: I can respect Rupiβs personal experience and using her poetry to reach others who seek consolation, and I can also respect that she may be a gateway to a new generation to discover poetry as a medium. Stillβ¦ it didnβt hurt that my schoolβs introduction to poetry was Prufrock. Also, i share her ethnic background so Iβm not trying to devalue the whole POC thing (personally, most of us just like to be viewed as PEOPLE, full-stop - anyone who says otherwise is riding a wave of modernity for their own individual gain in my eyes).

> Over the past few months a battle between certain concerned Craigavon residents and iBurst reached fever pitch, with residents demanding that iBurst move a tower that was erected in Fourways Memorial Park on 12 August 2009.
> A 'Craigavon Task Force' was established shortly after the erection of the tower, partly because some residents in the area complained about ailments which they attributed to the tower.
> Van Zyl reiterated that residents said that the symptoms typically subsided in hours or days after leaving the Craigavon area, and since it still prevailed in mid-November it means that it could not have been related to the iBurst tower radiation.
> Van Zyl added that "Whatever caused their symptoms, it was now a fact that it could not be attributed to the iBurst tower and the tower was switched back on in the 2nd week of December." The iBurst CEO added that residents failed to show up for subsequent meetings scheduled for the 30th of November and the 2nd of December.
> While this revelation may seriously dent the argument, from this particular group of Craigavon residents, that the iBurst tower is to blame for the ailments, the case is unlikely to go away soon.
> iBurst responded saying that it will definitely fight any legal action related to the Craigavon tower.
