A list of puns related to "The Global Minotaur"
Somewhere in Pentagram City. An arena is packed to the brim with drunken demons, hungry to see the cheap violence and bloodshed. A wrestling ring is set up, an announcer stands in the middle.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! WELCOME TO THE HELL'S WRESTLING LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP! TODAY YOU ARE ABOUT TO WITNESS CARNAGE LIKE YOU'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE! WE HAVE HERE TWO MERCILESS MURDERERS OF MALICE, READY TO TEAR EACH OTHER TO MEATY SHREDS FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT!"
"NOW TO INTRODUCE OUR FIGHTERS, ON THIS SIDE. WE HAVE THE PRIDE OF THE PRIDE, WITH HIS BEAUTIFUL MANE OF HAIR, OUR REIGNING CHAMPION; KIIIIING RRRRAMSES!"
A large muscular lion man with a long mane of hair comes from the entrance left of the announcer, fireworks shoot and rock music fill the arena, the crowd cheers and he enters the ring, he flexes, roars and acts arrogantly for the crowd.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, NOW FOR OUR CHALLENGER! AN UNDERDOG RISING TO THE TOP WITH HIS BLUNT BRUTALITY, ONE WHO HAS GROWN QUITE A FAN FOLLOWING OVER THE PAST FEW WEEKS! GIVE IT UP FOR, TTTTOOOOOORRRRROOOOOO TITAAAANICAAAAAAA!"
Toro Titanica comes from the announcers right and he comes stomping out and roaring like mad. The crowd loves it, fireworks and more metal music fill the air. He wastes no time getting in the ring.
"ALRIGHT, ITS DOWN TO THIS, THE CHAMPIONSHIP IS DECIDED TONIGHT! TWO LEGENDS! CAGED IN A NO HOLDS BARRED BLOODBATH! EVERYONE!"
"LEEEETTTTTS GET READY TO MURDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...RRRR!"
The crowd roars and the cage lowers as the announcer leaves, the fight begins. The crowd has weapons ready to throw into the ring for the fighters to use.
Context: the Minotaurs are, well, it's a very long story, but to boil it all down, they are incredibly loyal to the High Lords of Terra and are perfectly happy to act as their 'private' army. Kraatos here is a "Vigilator-Sergeant" of the Ninth (Devastator) Reserve Company.
> When the Minotaurs Chapter was first drawn into the Orphean war; Kraatos distinguished himself first, not against the great - Necron threat but against the xenos corsairs driven from their lairs by the implacable advance of the oncoming machine-horde. Given command of a demi-company to hold the fuelling station at Attedum, Kraatos used the outpost's human workers and servitors as bait, corralling them in the central refinery area. Drawn by the temptation of flesh, blood and souls, the darkling Eldar corsairs drove into what appeared an ill-defended refuge intent on taking captives rather than outright destruction, and so their fate was sealed. As the aliens' dark hunger overtook their caution, Kraatos' Minotaurs rose from concealing positions and caught the xenos in a prearranged series of crossfires and enfilades, shredding their lightly armoured transports first and trapping them in the refinery's heart. In the three hour gun battle that followed, over two hundred Kabalites were laid waste. It is a tribute to the efficiency and skill of Kraatos and his Minotaurs that civilian casualties proved far less than expected, with only six in ten civilians being killed.
>
TLDR: This particular reservist was given "a demi-company" and told to hold a fueling station. Mission accomplished. Not a bad result, taking down "over two hundred" Dark Eldar (+vehicles) and saving the facility whilst only losing 60% of the civilian populace.
A/N: better dead than captured by the Dark Eldar.
I have watched a few reviews by Fun and Games with Terry but I would like some more reasons to see if it is indeed worth it
Ya dun goofed there, sir.
One of the examples given was that an Athenian didn't believe there was an actual Minotaur, but would use the lessons of the myth to understand that ships from Minoa (with a bull emblem) would be hostile. Or that when reciting tales of the Lady in the Lake who forged King Arthur's sword, folk would not believe that she was an actual creature or mythological entity, but understood her to be just a blacksmith. The common belief seems to be that ancient cultures legitimately believed their myths as factual history. Is this true, and if not, when did our perspective on it change?
It looks like Osiris hollowed out the middle of the Mercury patrol area and built the Sundial there. Since when you go visit Osiris you can see what looks like the Lighthouse to the left, the surrounding area looks identical and you can see the entrance to the Infinite Forest on the right.
Would that mean canonically we wouldnβt be able to access the Lighthouse and itβs currently lost/phasing through time?
Of all the dungeons, Minotaur is the only one that hands you the rewards you need. THE. ONLY. ONE. Need a white scroll? Here, have white scrolls. The higher stage you do, the more you get, guaranteed. Need a green scroll? Here, have a green scroll. Minotaur NEVER gives you a reward that isn't useful. Need a superior spirit potion? You have to go to spirit keep. Spirit Keep says "F U, here have an XP brew LOL. Maybe try a higher stage. Higher. Spend more energy. OK here U go, 1 minor potion. You can turn 100 of these into 1 of what you wanted."

Bio: Aegeus, the childless king lamented upon his lake of an heir and sought the aid of the Oracle of Delphi. She responded with a cryptic words "Do not loosen the bulging mouth of the wineskin until you have reached the height of Athens, lest you die of grief.β The king knew not what these words meant, however his host and friend Pittheus understood quiet well what the words meant. That night, Pittheus made Aegeus drunk and sent his daughter Aethra to his bed where they made love, and thus was conceived Theseus.
Soon sleep overtook Aethra, and within her dreams Athena instructed her to the shore, where upon his chariot Poseidon arose from the see, and possessed Aethra. His divine will permeated the child, and thus he was made child of both the king Aegeus, and the god Poseidon. Aegeus knowing now that Aethra bore his child, buried his sandals and sword beneath a large rock and told her that once his son grew, he was to take these with him to Athens and claim his birth right. He sit out to Athens, leaving Theseus to be born and raised in his motherβs land.
When the time came for Theseus to go forth to Athens, he was given the option to travel safely by sea, or bravely by land. Brave and confident, he chose the more dangerous route, traveling by land and encountering six chthonic bandits, each of whom he defeated before arriving in Athens. Upon his arrival to the city, he came upon Aegeus whom did not recognize Theseus, his wife on the other hand did.
She viewed Theseus as a threat to her own sons rise to the throne, and thus this witch and priest told Theseus of the Marathonian Bull. Wishing to gain favor among the people set out to Marathon to capture it, but along the way he was hindered by a great storm and sought shelter within the hut of an old woman, Hecale. They became fast friends with one another in that short time they
