A list of puns related to "The Girl Code"
[throwaway]
I had a friend in college, letβs call her Julie. Julie wasnβt the most terrible person but she wasnβt great either. She was petty and bullied people to the point that she often found herself in situations where no one wanted to hang with her. I had moved across the country to go to college, and I barely had any friends. Julie was also fun to hang with. When Julie was in a good mood, weβd often go shopping and do mindless stuff together. While she bullied me occasionally and often said mean things, she was fun (think of reality tv fun).
I forgot to mention this before but Julie was absolutely smitten by one of her friends. Letβs call him Dave. Everyone in college knew about Dave. Julie was convinced that they would end up getting married (everyone knew this). She believed that Dave was into her too but he just didnβt know it. None of us had ever met Dave.
Finally, one day Julie told Dave that she liked him. Dave said he didnβt feel the same way. Julie was upset. Months later, Julie and I were attending an event when we ran into Dave. Julie introduced us, and that was that. β I later met Dave at a friendβs birthday (Julie was invited but didnβt attend because our friend didnβt personally invite her and she didnβt feel special). Dave and I hit it off. The next day he asked me for my number and we got talking. He invited me to a bunch of parties but I said no. I was scared that I would upset Julie if I said yes and sheβd find out that Dave and I were getting close. I donβt use the word scared loosely, I was genuinely afraid she would scream and call me names. Iβd seen her do that to others and I didnβt want it to be me.
Around the time Dave and I started texting, Julie and I started growing apart. Partly because I realized that our relationship was toxic and I was complacent with some of the things she did - when she treated people terribly, I didnβt do much about it. I ignored it. Also because talking to Dave, I realized that I didnβt deserve to get treated like shit by someone I considered a friend. A few weeks before our finals, I stopped talking to Julie. I completely cut her off. Dave stopped talking to Julie too. But it was more organic and not as sudden as my decision.
Itβs been ten years, Dave and I are together. I recently ran into someone from college, and she was shocked to hear that I am with Dave. βBut how could you? You can never date the guy your friend likes.β I told her that itβs odd that no one ever asks Dave the same ques

Sorry the sentences above are a little weird. Had to fit it into 300 characters.
Okay ladies, so I work in a small business (Only two female employees including myself) and so me and ... the other girl have free run of the ladies toilet. (Single room with loo and sink situation)
After being caught out occasionally without the necessary period supplies I filled a discrete pencil case with pads & tampons and placed it in the undersink cupboard. Great solution!
A few weeks later, my fellow lady collegue asks if I have any pads she can borrow, I go into the toilet, open my emergency kit for the first time and get her one out. She thanks me, and ushers me out to go use it See? Girl code obliged!
Well
Yesterday I felt the familiar feeling and had a brief moment of "Oh shitimatworkwhatdoido" before I remembered the pencil case. I waltzed my way over to the ladies loo, open my pencil case and...it was empty.
Completely empty.
She'd used all the pads and tampons from my emergency stash . She hadn't replaced them. She hadn't even asked if she could have them in the first place. There was like 8 pads of different kinds, panty liners, a generous handful of tampons too. I pulled up my pants and walked onto the office floor and nonchalantly asked her if she had any pads, she smiled and said she didn't have any. I had to roll up some fucking tissue paper and waddle my way through to home time.
What would you do in the face of such betrayal? Has this happened to you? I'm not this girls biggest fan due to various other work-related incidents but like... c'mon!
Edit!
Chill guys, it was a joke and I'd never ACTUALLY sabotage the pads, I'm just going to leave the pencil case empty and put up with taking my handbag to the toilet with me instead - then I guess I'll mention it to her when she's next in and see if she tops up the pencil case herself

Hi! So Iβve seen Code Geass way back early 2010. Then growing up happened yaddah yaddah yaddah then one day I found out that there are recap movies - novels even. I used to be really obsessed with Code Geass thatβs why before I watch the R3 movie when it gets released on December, I want to dive right back in the CG world.
So far, what I know is that:
Anyway, Iβd really appreciate it if you guys can help me. Iβve been reading threads here but I want to know more about the code and the geass (kinda didnβt bother to dig in much about it when I was younger lol).
Obligatory yes I'm drunk. And I just uprooted my life to go to a new state. You might've seen my post a few days ago about how often people (especially women) seem to flake. Well today I had plans with a girl from class to go to a game together. We were gonna leave at 4. It's 6:25. She left without me and went to her fuck buddies instead. And with every girl I've tried to make friends with or befriend I've had Similar issues. They show up late. They bail. They ghost. I thought girls were supposed to look out for each other? Or at the very least be nice? I made guy friends pretty fast. But girls just keep pulling this. So instead of enjoying my first ever football game in the usa, I'm crying in the bathroom.
Lisa has a combination of a regional Pennsylvania accent that has different enunciation and pronunciation, a smoker voice, and damaged vocal chords from her ex-husbandβs assault. She doesnβt have a very strong accent nor sound like an Amish person. Thought Iβd clear this up.
my best friend called me last night and told me she liked the only guy i have ever loved and i literally want to cry
A lot of people have been talking about it at my school, especially considering how guys can get away with shit girls can't. For instance I often wear tanktops without consequences even though it is a rule and some girls parents are even called to pick them up or bring in different clothes. I also often wear sweats without any problems, where female friends have been sent home for wearing leggings. I would agree that it is heavily sexist at my school and I'm wondering if it is the same at yours. Me and my friends are considering wearing Daisy Dukes to make fun of this bullshit on the last day of school, would we be overstepping as guys? Or would it just be funny?
What does βbreaking the girl codeβ mean to you and your friends?
