On September 27, 1943, Nazi Germany invaded the city of Naples, in southern Italy. The Neapolitan people were really tired of being subjected to the orders and atrocities of the Nazis, so they started a rebellion. They fought with everything they had, and even ambushed them by throwing furniture from the balconies over the German soldiers. After 4 grueling days, the Germans, tired and unmotivated by the courage and anger of the people of Naples, withdrew.
