A list of puns related to "The Family Murders"
Iβve watched βOnce Upon a Time in Hollywoodβ three times now and have heard multiple audience members leaving confused saying things like βwhoβs Sharon Tate and what was the point of her in the movie?β
In my opinion, knowing that the Manson family killed a stuntman in Georgeβs ranch and knowing the events of August 9th 1969, add suspense to the scenes where you expect Tarantino to recreate real life events.
Did you know about the murders before you watched the movie? What are your thoughts?

UPDATE:
***The bodies of the two deceased girls were cremated by the families under guard of police and security personnel. Seems likely they were coerced.
Two people have been arrested, one of whom claims to have been in love with the survivor, who spurned his advances. He poisoned her by his admission, but that the other girls imbibed by mistake. There are gaps in this story as no explanations were provided as to why the hands and legs of all the girls were bound.***
Video showing some discrepancies in the case: https://youtu.be/aev2IHGL54U
Let's talk about some aspects of this case collated from several sources:
Three Dalit girls, aged 13, 16 and 17, had gone to collect fodder in nearby farms in Unnao in UP. They didn't come back home so the family went looking.
They were found in the forest with their hands and feet tied with items of clothing like dupattas. Because of this, suicide seems unlikely.
They had white substances in their mouths, suspected poison.
The two younger girls were found dead. The older girl is battling for her life.
Though the police claim there were no signs of injuries on their bodies or struggle in the area, this seems unlikely.
The survivor is in critical condition and is being treated in Kanpur. There are growing concerns she will not receive adequate care and there is mounting pressure to shift her to AIIMS in Delhi.
The brother and father of the victims were picked up by the police and have been detained. The rest of their household is under police barricade. As is the hospital where the survivor is being treated.
Post-mortems were conducted today on the victims by a panel of 4 doctors. There are reports that the police are pressuring the families of the victims to cremate their bodies overnight. Harkens back to the Hathras case.
Since the survivor is on ventilator and fighting for her life, no statement was recorded in this case. However FIRs have been lodged against unknown individuals under sections 302 and 201 of the IPC.
No word from the ruling party in the state or the center. No assurances of treatment or justice.
ALSO NOTE: A couple of days ago three cops in Kashmir were arrested for kidnapping and molesting a minor girl. Lest we forget the atrocities in Kashmir.

... keep reading on reddit β‘iirc the house is quite large with a main staircase a decent-sized garden. Over the episode, they renovate it, only to find those changes have been there in the past. They choose a wallpaper, and when they tear off the current wallpaper they find beneath it is the exact wallpaper they had chosen. They find a set of concrete steps to put into their yard, but when installing them they find those same steps under the earth of where they planned to put them (or something like that).
I don't remember much of the rest of the plot. I do remember the first murder takes place in the house's garden, probably at night. The murderer took a piece of wire to strangle someone from behind.
The climax of the episode takes place on the main set of stairs at night, as the murderer confronts someone who knows too much (or something like that) at the top of them. The detective then intervenes but I can't really remember how or what happens.
I'm 90% sure this was an episode of a mystery TV show, but a longer episode, probably 48+ minutes. I'm 99% sure this predates 2010, but it's probably even earlier than that.
Which serial killer was involved in this case ?
Article in this morning's newspaper:

The McStays were an American family that disappeared and were found murdered in the desert near Victorville, California.
In 2010, Joseph McStay (age 40) and his wife Summer (age 43) lived in Fallbrook, California, with their sons Gianni (age 4) and Joseph Jr. (age 3)The McStays had disappeared from their home on February 4, 2010. Over the next several days, relatives of the McStays unsuccessfully tried to contact them. On February 13, Joseph's brother Michael traveled to the McStay residence and, upon finding an open window in back, climbed in and gained entry to the home. Michael McStay did not find any of the family at home, and their two dogs were in the backyard. On November 11, 2013, a motorcyclist found four sets of human remains buried in two shallow graves in the desert near Victorville, California. Police announced they had arrested Charles "Chase" Merritt, Joseph McStay's business partner, and intended to charge him with the murders. On June 10, 2019, a San Bernardino County jury found Merritt guilty of murdering the McStay family. He was sentenced to death on January 21, 2020.
Title says all. Do you think during the time he was killing people the Zodiac had a family, like a mother, father, brothers/sisters or was a lonely person ?
At the very least, I want to change my public image and PR. I do have a secret identity, btw. But a few people know it.
Can anyone help shed some light on this case with anything from updates, opinions and even speculation?
*Edited for clarity
On December 28, 2005, a phone belonging to a man called Robert Lee was found in a garage in the parking lot of a family home in northeast Oklahoma City. It contained the victim's driverβs cell phone, which was found next to him.
Investigators believe that the victim, who was found in the garage while his family was out of town, was killed by either an intruder or someone in the family, who then killed himself.
The victimβs identity is still unknown, but the cause and manner of death have been determined to be suicide.
