A list of puns related to "The Colóns (2002–2010)"
Anyone else having issues with the clock on their G1s? Started acting crazy today. Thinks it is January 2002. Tried to change the time/date manually and no dice.

Platform(s): Xbox
Genre: RTS
**Estimated year of release:**2002-2010
Graphics/art style: It had a generic fantasy setting, but with a dark gothic kinda feel to it. It had an animeish style so I figure it was originally form Japan kinda like final fantasy but darker (not game play wise just aesthetic).
Notable characters: I seem to remember one of the evil missions having a hero riding some kind of dragon/ flying creature in one of the missions. Other than that I have nothing on the characters, but you could play evil heroes of good heroes.
Notable gameplay mechanics: The game play involved heroes an groups of unit that you controlled against the AI. I don't remember having to actually build structures but I am not certain on that point. I distinctly remember that some units had abilities to activate as there was a mission where you had to burn down a village as you progressed, but I couldn't figure out how to have the archer unit use their fire arrows on it and it locked the camera on the village until you burned it.
Other details: Aside from the mission directly above(village burning) I only really remember one other mission. You played the evil hero above and you started at the top left of the map and had to make your way through the map to the bottom right. I couldn't cheese the mission by having the hero fly to the end point because of some strong flying(maybe) enemies. I also was to bad to do it normally so it might have been a harder mission.

... keep reading on reddit ➡I used to play this game at my cousin house a long time ago. Everything i remember is that you control a steam locomotive , the screen has 3 tracks in isometric view that you can direct your train to, the objective was to surpass 3(or maybe more) other trains avoiding collision with them to win, and when you win you get a small passenger wagon, i remeber playing it in a really old windows PC, not sure which operational system it was, I'm from Brazil so if the game had texts(mission passed for example) it was translated to Portuguese. Thats all i remember.
Hello! I remember a site (kind of looked like a blog from blogspot but also not) with black background that showed foreign movies coming out. It was categorized and included a comment field and IMDb links and a brief overview of what the movie was about and what the person posting thought about it.
I’m pretty sure it was called foreign films but the website I see today is not that one. Anyone remember?
Book where the main character is middle to high school age and they are recruited to join this group of people who teach them to do magic, but they start out in this little like room with wires and stuff to magnify it to make it easy for beginners, and it talks about how they use quantum physics to do it, and there’s an evil group of magic users too. At the end the MC accidentally spawns a tornado, so the leader of the good guy group has to get it under control
Me and a few friends used to run a now-dead website that networked local Arizona bands & fans back in the early innerwebs. We managed to capture a nice little time capsule in a collection of comp albums. Some great shit and some trash, but all a great snapshot of our little corner of the pit. Hope yall enjoy the sounds.

I remember this old vsmile game when I was a kid it was like an animal crossing type game I also remember it having really uncanny graphics and their was always a purple hippo that would scare me the most I also remember a lot of the stuff you would do in the game revolved around a well in the middle of town any help would be appreciated
I get that the anglicization of his name comes from the Latin root of his birth name, Colombo, however his Italian name fits within Castilian Spanish norms; it’s even the source of the name Colombia. Why did the he go down in Spanish history books as “Colón”?
As a fan of Colón, I can’t help but feel as though his future in the Hall of Fame is in doubt. Many claim that, while his career was long, he did little to prove himself statistically. I full heartedly disagree. When compared to Babe Ruth (who many say is the greatest player of all time), Colón comes out ahead.
Let’s look at the stats:
Overall, if we’re to believe that Babe Ruth is a ‘Hall of Famer’, I think it’s only fair to extend such a title to Colón as well.

Going to be a bit vague as this is a memory from a few years ago, but it was a game where you control a mercenary company in the middle east. It plays like mount and blade warband, you had a world map and encountered enemy groups. You'd then get out into a random map and fight them.
Marina Ginestà i Coloma (29 January 1919 – 6 January 2014) was a French-born Spanish veteran of the Spanish Civil War, who was a member of the Unified Socialist Youth. She became famous due to the photo taken by Juan Guzmán on the rooftop of Hotel Colón, Barcelona during the July 1936 military uprising in Barcelona. It is one of the most iconic photographs of the Spanish Civil War.

Platform(s): PC. We didn't have any other platforms at the time.
Genre: Top-down shooter
Estimated year of release: I think I played it with my brother around the years 2006-2010, but may be earlier. Definitely not later.
Graphics/art style: It had sci-fi theme or maybe cyberpunk. Place of action was a city (I guess?)
Notable gameplay mechanics: Typical top-down shooter, where you run around and shoot stuff. I think you could break stuff (like boxes) for ammo and blow up explosive barrels.
Other details: I'm pretty sure there was a co-op (possibly couch co-op) because I played it with my older brother. Probably the thing I remembered the most is a mission where you start near a burning turned over car and proceed upward. I believe that was the first mission in the game, but I can be wrong. Also the graphics looked very cool for the time.
Platform: PC
Genre: top down view of planet and spaceship that shoots threats. Arcade type
Estimated year of release: 2002-2010
Graphics/art style: birds eye view of a planet in the middle and you are a red spaceship it was a snowy the bear style of art.
Notable characters: a guy in astronaut suit and a red spaceship.
Notable game-play mechanics: The camera is always from above. The spaceship is mouse controlled and follows the mouse cursor round the planet and shoots beams against the threats. when you complete a lvl you can buy upgrades for the ship and planet upgrades i think.
Other details: it was a 60 min trial game but it was a lot of fun. it looks similar to the image in the link but you are a red spaceship
This will be fairly long but they’ll be a TLDR as I’m sure a lot of you have already heard this kind of stuff before.
TLDR: they are both really good and I recommend them to everyone rankings: The Ring Scariness - 5/10 Creepiness - 8/10 Overall as a movie - 9/10 Insidious Scariness - 9/10 Creepiness - 7/10 Overall as a movie - 8/10
On to the long bit, I don’t know what it is but in the last couple of months probably with me really excited for A Quiet Place Part II, and watching a lot of dead meat, I’ve been getting more and more into horror and have wanted to watch The Ring with my friend for a while. Whilst looking at stuff about the ring and movies such as A Quiet Place (one of the only other “true” horror movies I’ve seen) I stumbled upon wheresthejump.com and found Insidious which I had kinda know about because of the Last Key trailers years ago and thought that I would never watch it because of the 5 star rating. However, because I’ve been more and more into horror I made myself get really into wanting to watch it and here we are, I had a sleepover with my friend and we watched both Insidious and The Ring. Now I knew that Insidious was going to be a pretty “jumpy” movie which I don’t tend to be a fan of however it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be and instead I loved the story although the end was a bit weird but still intriguing and the “main scare” didn’t bother me at all most likely because I didn’t watch it in a theater combined with the fact that I knew it was coming but some of the other scares were really good and did make me jump quite a bit. As I said earlier I highly recommend watching it if you haven’t already. With The Ring the closet scare was more disturbing then frightening much like a lot of the movie (which was very green). It’s a great story with more creepiness then scariness although can be pretty tense and disturbing. I would call this movie close to a masterpiece of horror even if you aren’t a fan of jumpy movies, and even if you are you’re missing out if you haven’t seen this one. My final thoughts and extra notes are that Insidious is a bit cheesy at some parts and the ring can drag on a bit if long movies aren’t really you’re thing The Ring is on Prime Video and Insidious is on Netflix. Sorry if this dragged on a bit and thank you if you read all of it. If you have any questions or comments leave them in the comments.
