Before I go into this, let's start on common ground we can agree on: Hagrid is not evil. Agreed? If not you can fuck right off.

Hagrid may have a slight problem of overtrusting, but at the end of the day you can't exactly look at this Scottish Steve-Irwrin-Santa and think he's some mad slaver, so when he tells Hermoine in The Goblet of Fire ‘It’s in their nature ter look after humans, that’s what they like, see? Yeh’d be makin’ ’em unhappy ter take away their work, an’ insultin’ ’em if yeh tried ter pay ’em.’, you have to take a second to realize what he means.

House Elves are simply criminally underrated in the realm of fantasy novels. To take a children's series, and as early as book two illustrate to kids geopolitical and historical issues in a digestible way, as well as avoid the easy route of making your fantasy world just cotton candy escapism and instead illustrate true issues within the world, is simply brilliant.

The two house elves we become closest with, Dobby and Kreacher, are set up polar opposites; the traditionally grumpy and downright cruel, and the buoyant and merry. What's interesting though isn't how they're different, but how wildly similar they are in many regards. Aside from simply both coming from a background of dark wizarding families, both go on to not just serve, but to aid (crucial difference) Harry, Ron, and Hermoine after being shown even the smallest drop of affection, further illustrating JK Rowling's throughline in her work that every being, no matter how 'foul' or outcasted, is deserving of love, and that beautiful things can happen when you give someone the respect they need. This happened to Kreacher in one of the more overlooked yet touching character arcs, who was put through an absolute emotional and mental meat grinder of an existence, living surrounding by the severed heads of his family and kind, only to revert so dramatically he will literally die to defend the values of those who showed him kindness. "For Master Regulus!" he bellows, as he leads the house elves to fight in the battle for Hogwarts.

House Elves do not inherently serve, they inherently aid. Like the hospice workers of the wizarding world, they subsist in making the lives of individuals just a bit easier. And this is where Hermoine is wrong for the right reasons; there's no shame whatsoever in living to aid others. While from Hermoine's raising outside the world this may be seen as servitude or slavery, she missed one key issue with S.P.E.

Something she could grow into and hone over years

I believe everything Jaclyn is saying, and it’s scary. But the only person who can help Eugenia is Eugenia. We know that she’s REALLY good at denying when she has a problem; she’s gonna do the same when it comes to her mom, especially because her mom controls everything in her life.

Jaclyn made a really bad move releasing the video; the selfish part of me likes the fact it confirms my suspicions about the Shane video and EC’s situation as a whole, but the other part of me knows this can’t go well.

Abusive relationships like EC’s are all about power and control. EC‘s video with Shane was all about taking back a little bit of the power; SHE got to define herself as someone who was struggling but recovering, and SHE got to define herself as more than that.

The only thing that EC needs right now is to feel empowered. No one can remove her from her mother, because nothing her mom does is illegal. She has to make that decision herself. Jaclyn taking away her power in a video like this is really harmful to Eugenia. None of us can take Eugenia out of the situation she is in; we know because we tried that with her eating disorder. She has to come to that conclusion on her own.

I’m new to the game (about a month playing and I still feel like I know nothing) so I don’t know how unusual this ability is. But in Maria Hill’s event my strategy is honestly to let her match black tiles and wait for her to commit suicide. I’ve honestly seen the AI ignore matches for that countdown tile for other matches.

So, ever since the brainiacs at the FDA and Dexcom have made it harder to restart a sensor so that people would not go beyond the 10 day period I have noticed that instead of going 14 or 15 days on a sensor I have been going 19 or 20 days on a sensor because it is such a pain in the ass to restart a sensor now with the 8H or GH sensors. So FDA and Dexcom, if your intention was to prevent people from extending their sensors beyond 10 days it was a total fail. At least with me it’s caused me to extend even longer.

Akame stood in the kitchen, pulling things out of the refrigerator and different cabinets and setting them all out on the counter. It seemed like she was preparing to cook a small feast but in truth she was just trying to get out in front of the boy’s appetites, as if Lyger wasn’t eating enough to feed several people on his own. Before long the of olive oil and seasoning began to fill the house, amidst the sound of food being chopped and meat being prepared. Before long she heard Denji on the stairs, wondering how long it would take him to join her as he often did around this time in the morning.

He yawned heavily as he entered the room, arms stretching over his head he leaned his body to either side before flopping down into a seat at the table.

D: “I could definitely get used to all this homecooking, my dad almost never cooks and mom’s generally already at the school before I wake up, preparing lessons for the day.”

A: “Well honestly, you’re lucky your father doesn’t cook, it’s awful, and I’m sure if he actually did he’d force you to eat it” she chuckled as she scooped a handful of chopped vegetables and dropped them onto the skillet.

After lingering for a moment, still waking himself up Denji eventually stood and got himself some tea, peering over her shoulder to see what she was making, “where’s Lyger” he asked as he headed back to his seat.

A: “I have to imagine he’s at the Akegawa’s by now, seems like he gets up earlier and earlier every morning” she sighed, her tone a bit stressed, suddenly drowned out by the loud sizzle of freshly cut meat being added to the mix.

D:” What’s wrong” he rested his chin in his hand, posting his elbow on the table for support, “did something happen?”

A: “He’s been acting differently lately.. Doesn’t really feel like my little boy anymore ya know” she turned to lean against the counter, shaking her head, “ever since he found out, it just hasn’t been the same between us.”

D: “How so… I mean all he did before is train, that’s pretty much all he does now right” he asked, shrugging his shoulders.

A: “It’s more than that… He doesn’t really t

Just because their policies may be different doesn’t mean that one side is “good” and he other is “bad”. Being able have such a rational view of politics is what makes one a centrist. How this is hard for some people to grasp blows my mind...

Meditation definitely played a significant role in my life and how I've changed from being an accountant hating my job into a school teacher/ yoga instructor who also runs a learning school for kids in Thailand.

However, I must emphasize the importance the other four points played in complementing my practice. It allowed me to have a healthy, strong and energetic body to utilize and clear goals and objectives to focus on.

Its changed my life so much I made a short video about it to share as I feel it's easier to communicate good ideas through videos sometimes.
