Im serious. Prince Of Egypt is better than 10 commandments.
(NOTE: This is sorta meta / humor but also contains real hints on how to play the game. This is first posted on Steam forum about a couple hours ago. Didn't like the ordering? Think I am wrong? Want to add exceptions? Want to add another few Commandments? Comment below! )
Technically there are 11, but rule 0 is so obvious it sort of doesn't count
0) Thou shall stay solvent
If you're not solvent, you're not a mercenary.
1) Thou shall always come first
You are the soul of the company. You can always rebuild. As long as you survive the company goes on (unless you go insolvent, see 0)
2) Thou shall only engage for profit
Profit can mean many things, from actual kill bonus, to potential salvage, to simply removing barriers between you and the objective.
If you're not getting paid for it, you probably shouldn't do it. And sometimes, even if you are being paid for it, you probably aren't paid ENOUGH. Like "performance bonuses".
EXCEPTION: you can let the AI teammates make a few kills to let them grow a bit, if you have time. (See 10)
3) Thou shall minimize damage to your side
Damage is negative profit. (See 2)
Keep yourself minimally damaged. Keep your lancemates minimally damaged. Keep your allies minimally damaged. The more allied units around, the less likely enemy will shoot at you.
The less time you spend in hostile territory, the less damage you'll likely take. This may mean speed, this may mean take a LONGER route so you only face one set of enemies at a time.
Corollary: Thou shall use airstrikes on raid and demolition missions. They will take down a good chunk of the base for you before you get close enough, leaving you to spend minimal time in hostile territory, and your damages to a minimum.
4) Thou shall make quick kills
Cockpit shots, rear torso shots, leg shots, whatever way you do it. The faster you kill, the less damage you and your side take. (See 3)
EXCEPTION: If you run into a mech you REALLY want to salvage, you MAY want to shoot its arms off first THEN do the headshot, so it doesn't cost so much to salvage. (see 5)
5) Thou shall be accurate
Every shot you miss may be the one you regret. Accurate shots kill more quickly. (see 4)
You can also reduce damage to your side by removing the enemy's biggest weapon, esp. arm-mounted ones. (See 3)
6) Thou shall use the right weapon
Buildings should be rammed, not shot. Don't use AC/20 on an itty-bitty small laser turret. You get the idea (see 5)

I. Thou shalt remember that a penny saved is MORE THAN a penny earned
When you save money that you would normally spend, you embrace the double whammy of savings. First, you get one step closer to having the amount of savings you need. Second, you shrink the amount of savings you need. A less expensive lifestyle means a smaller amount of money can sustain it indefinitely. Itβs as if you were sprinting toward the finish line and the finish line was also sprinting toward you. Now thatβs what I call a twofer! A worked example: If you spend $40k per year, then if you follow the 4% rule, you need $1 million in the bank to sustain that lifestyle indefinitely ($1,000,000 * 4% return = $40,000). If your car insurance costs $1000 per year and you make that call to save 15%, you get $150 closer to your $1 million dollar goal, every year. But wait, thereβs more! By reducing your annual expenses, you now only need to save $996,250 to sustain your lifestyle ($996,250 * 4% = $40,000 - $150). So, the finish line has moved closer by $3,750, and youβre getting there $150/year faster!
II. Thou shalt know thy expenses
You canβt measure what you canβt see. Okay, so that might not be 100% accurate in light of modern physics, but bear with me here. How much money do you spend each month? Does that count the car you need to replace in 3 years? The couch you bought 6 months ago? That dental procedure that youβll never need again? What about your mortgage principal? Arenβt you paying that to yourself? Understanding your expenses is not as easy as it seems. To get the full picture, you need to amortize your expenses over their applicable period of use. Before you run away screaming, itβs not as hard as it sounds. Remember, youβre planning for a sustainable long-term livelihood, so you need to factor things in correctly. If youβre going to get a new car every 10 years, apply 1/120th of the cost of the car to each month. That couch youβll replace in 5 years? Apply 1/60th of the cost each month. That dental procedure? If nothing like it is ever happening again, ignore it. Knowing whether you have enough money is composed of two parts: knowing how much is enough, and knowing how much you have. If youβre like most people, you donβt really know the answer to either of those questions. Knowing your expenses will enable you to know how much money is actua
... keep reading on reddit β‘In English the ten commandments ( Exodus 20:1β17 and Deuteronomy 5:4β21) of the Decalogue are traditionally translated in the form:
>"Thou shalt ..../ Though shalt not..."
As legal/ethical principles these are then understood grammatically imperative statements rather than the legal conditionals, (ie. if X then Y often found in other legal codes such as the Code of Hammurabi, or the Roman Twelve Tables.)
Is this a specifically Judeo-Christian thing that diastinguishes the Christain ethics from other legal codes? or is this falsely imposed on the original sources by the early modern English translation of the bible? There must be loads of literature on this topic, But I don't really know where to start?
My questions are basically:
What reputable sources can I start with on this topic?
Sorry for the long title.
Meliodas vs Elizabeth
Zeldris vs Mael
Original demon vs Ludoshel
Sariel, Tarmiel, dolor, and gloxinia vs original ten commandments (minus Meliodas/zeldris) and six knights of black.
All-out brawl between the heavyweights of the demon clan and stigma. If stigma is too short on members they have the strongest angel Nerobasta as backup!
Fighters can also change their opponents during the brawl at any time
1: Cohen is lord, our God. You shall not have strange gods before Cohen.
2: Thou shalt not take the name of Cohen or Trump in vain.
3: Remember the holy Sabbath day (markets are closed).
4: Honor Trump and Cohen.
5: Thou shalt not murder people in the name of Trump or Cohen.
6: If you are married, you shall not commit adultery, but your wife having a boyfriend is OK
7: Thou shalt not steal to buy more GME shares
8: You shall not bear false witness against other moon ape investors.
9: You shall not covet your neighbors hot DD skank wife.
10: You shall not covet your neighbors GME shares.
Apes, follow these commandments, and in 2024 when Trump is re-elected, we will all taste the promised land.
You only support freedom for your religion, and you are no better off than people living in autocratic countries where their spiritual choices are mandated. Intolerance of other peopleβs public choices is not in line with any βfreedomβ you purport to enjoy in a free country. In fact, this behavior will only make your country more homogeneous and ultimately more autocratic and theological. Crushing every other belief system is the very ideals you claim to hate.
