Talon Talon Puns

This champ's E has been blatantly broken since release. The lines it generates often make no sense and don't really limit the Talon whatsoever. Additionally, the cooldown per terrain is nonexistent. By the time he's back in x side of the map, all the limits are LONG GONE.

Add a stack system to Talon similar to Gangplank's Barrels or Azir's Soldiers. I'm tired of watching Talon hop across the map with no repercussions.

In combat? jump over the next 7 pieces of terrain in 15 seconds.

Ganking? Evade every ward on earth by jumping through vision no one every covers whenever you feel like it.

Want to clear camps? Jump over every inch of terrain completely ignoring one of the most vital parts of Jungle balance, movement speed.

It's not an "identity", it's just annoying.

There needs to be actual repercussions for Talon e'ing over everything. Currently they don't exist unless hyper specific criteria are met.

Remind me again how we as his opponents see this cooldown?

Remind me again with how wildly consistent the borders of his e's are so we can even guess where he can and cannot e next on a single piece of terrain?

Remind me again which strategy involves only clearing 25% of the jungle and just sitting their until the camps respawn again ad nauseam (so the cooldown would even vagally matter).

You guys act like anyone in the game has any idea which walls are off limits for him; or even worse, which PARTS of the walls are off limit. His enemies have NO idea. They don't know if he e'd to clear jungle. They don't know if he took a weird route without at least 1 random ward. Nobody knows but him. So forgive me if I come off as harsh, but you're living in a fairytale.

If Talon was instead limited by stacks, you know he has AT MOST ~2 stacks left when he jumps over a wall. The guess work is done. Hell, the cooldown could even be lower than 160 seconds per stack. God forbid, anyone, anywhere, had any idea what Talon's e is capable of, but him.

The gameplay loop isn't healthy for a Jungler, and IMO even a Mid laner. The sooner you Talon white knights realize this, the soon we can work TOGETHER to improve his standings, for EVERYONE.

Ever since his 11.18 buffs, Talon has been a S+ tier champion in the Jungle. He has been viable in the jungle since patch 10.4, but his clear speed wasn't as impressive as it is now.

His clear is insanely fast and his E is insanely strong for a Jungle champion, and it didn't take long for people to realize that he was truly strong.

The problem with his Jungle buffs is that he has shifted out of Midlane, the same way Taliyah and Karthus (IIRC) were.

His midlane counterpart lacks, in fact you dont oneshot the back wave unless you build your lethality mythic + a long sword + W fully maxed, which is a shame since he is supposed to be a roaming champion, but he doesn't fulfill that dream of being one anymore.

Him being a prominent Jungle pick means that his midlane counterpart cannot get buffed, since now he is balanced around being a jungler.

The main problem is that Tiamat removal hurt him very much, in fact, Talon used to max Q, build Tiamat and have no problem pushing waves. Now, he is forced to max W, and he still has problems pushing waves. He is supposed to be a weak laner until he can fully shove waves, and now, by the time he is able to fully shove waves, laning phase is pretty much over. (unless you are turbo ahead)

I just want to be able to play my champion again. Don't buff his midlane if you don't feel like it. Just revert the jungle buffs so I can play my champion at least once in 3 games.

Platinum: 50% winrate, 20% banrate.

Diamond: 51% winrate, 33% banrate.

Master: 54% winrate, 48% banrate.

Grandmaster: 51% winrate, 51% banrate.

Challenger: 54% winrate, 52% banrate.

So, the first thing is that these winrates directly follow the trend that release Aphelios, Akshan, Gwen, etc. had where worse players play them worse and so supposedly seem to be 'balanced' by their 50% winrate, only for better players to get their mitts on them and show that they are busted.

After seeing my Master+ friends fight Talon jungle, it's safe to say that he is as broken as he's made out to be. Talon has immense safety while counter-jungling, the ability to bypass any wards, great early (which makes punishing him for the counter-jungling even more difficult) and scales well. It doesn't help that his full combo has a 420%-470% AD ratio, 520%-570% if you include Q crit and the following auto, 770% if he uses R, meaning he has damage on par with Zed (a WQER combo from Zed deals 495%*1.25/1.4/1.55 (618%/693%/767% depending on R rank) AD assuming he hits every Q and every Q deals 110% AD damage instead of 66% like it normally would in a fight) despite supposedly giving up an ability for a utility skill that provides so much safety.

This wasn't so much a problem when Talon was mid, as Talon mid by roaming to get kills was limiting his experience and gold income if he failed to land one. Now, however, Talon gets to have both a reliable gold income and the ability to roam at the same time, which has pushed him into an untenable spot: he is currently the best jungler, most picked and banned, in higher elos and his win and banrate have remained pretty stable even following the nerfs on December 15'th which should've in theory had more than this minor effect, as it was a 40% reduction in W damage to monsters.

Now for the reason for another post like this: something that would balance Talon without nuking him for non-jungle players is removing the W bonus damage to monsters, moving it to his passive, and balancing it from there. This would slow his clear and make it less healthy (since he now has to individually attack the smaller jungle monsters to kill them) and give him the same sort of weakn

Talon has been bugged ever since his rework back in 2016. Although the bugs then weren't major, they haven't been properly addressed to this point and have been adding up to an unacceptable amount. The bugs go as follows, in the order of their importance:

1. Abilities visually apply a fake Blade's End (P) mark even if the ability is negated by a spell shield or Fiora's Parry. This has been occuring ever since Talon's rework in Patch V6.22.
2. Melee Noxian Diplomacy goes on cooldown as soon as it starts casting, before even dealing damage. This is wrong behavior for a single-targeted spell with a cast time, because when it's used on a target that becomes unavailable (death/invisibility/untargetability/stasis/out of range or sight/etc) in the process, it stays on cooldown. No other ability works in this counterintuitive and inconventional way. This has been occuring ever since Patch V11.1, when the ability was recoded in order to stack Tear of the Goddess.
3. Assassin's Path gets interrupted by displacements even when protected by a spell shield. This has been occuring ever since Talon's rework in Patch V6.22.
4. Shadow Assault's blades disappear when the target they are converging on goes untargetable or vanishes. This has been occuring ever since Talon's rework in Patch V6.22.
5. Ranged Noxian Diplomacy's cooldown is about 0.4 seconds longer than intended because its cooldown restarts from scratch when the ability deals damage. This has been occuring ever since Patch V11.1 when the ability was recoded in order to stack Tear of the Goddess.
6. Ranged Noxian Diplomacy does not follow mobility consistently. It either follows properly, doesn't follow at all or doesn't follow for the entire dash. However, it ALWAYS fails if Talon loses sight of the target. This has been occuring ever since Talon's rework in Patch V6.22.
7. Shadow Assault can be recasted via pressing Q even if Noxian Diplomacy is not available to use (for example when under hard CC). This has been occuring ever since Talon's rework in Patch V6.22.
8. Shadow Assault cancels movement input when used during Rake's cast time and also cancels melee Noxian Diplomacy's basic attack input when used during its cast time. This has been occuring ever since Patch V8.9's input buffering changes.
9. Assassin's Path sometimes puts walls close to the landing spot on **cooldo

Talon Metals has entered into an agreement to supply Tesla with nickel from the Tamarack Project in central Minnesota

Tamarack, Minnesota and Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands--(Newsfile Corp. - January 10, 2022) - Talon Metals Corp. (TSX: TLO), through its U.S. subsidiary Talon Nickel (USA) LLC (collectively "Talon" or the "Company"), has entered into an agreement with Tesla Inc. ("Tesla") for the supply and purchase of nickel concentrate to be produced from the Tamarack Nickel Project in Aitkin County, Minnesota. The execution of the agreement follows an extensive and detailed due diligence period performed by Tesla and lengthy negotiations between the parties.

Talon is committed to meeting the highest standards of responsible production that is fully traceable and that has the lowest embedded CO2 footprint in the industry. Agreement Highlights:

• Under the terms set out in the agreement, Tesla has committed to purchase 75,000 metric tonnes (165 million lbs) of nickel in concentrate, representing a portion of the metals projected to be produced from the Tamarack Nickel Project. Tesla also has a preferential right under the agreement to negotiate the purchase of additional nickel concentrate over and above the initial 75,000 metric tonne commitment.
