This job is hard physically and sometimes mentally (being stuck in a van for 8-10 hours with nothing but your thoughts isnβt always fun). Take it easy on the job and donβt overwork yourself or stress yourself out for Amazon. I was recently injured on the job because I was stressing that I was behind and trying too hard to make up for it. Wasnβt careful enough getting out of the van and now Iβm out for 6-8 weeks, no weight on my foot. Amazon really isnβt worth it. Take your time, do what you can, and be careful and easy on yourself. good luck yall
What do you do when youβve told your sparring partner that theyβre going too hard and they are still going hard with their punches? Ive been trying to go light on my punches to the head (I have heavy hands) and working on placement and being a good partner but omg this girl was the biggest try hard and even after I told her to go easy she was still going hard. I donβt want it to be a pissing contest but what do you do? Go hard back or call her out in front of the whole gym because Iβm trying to get better not knock my fucking brain cells out from someone who feels she needs validation from going hard at the gym.
Remember, eFootball / PES is just a computer game. There are more important things in life. So don't get too caught up with it.
Besides, nothing beats playing actual sport, be it football or whatever else. And you get to socialise too.
Just slightly concerned some gamers might take eFootball / PES / EA FIFA too seriously.
I was very fortunate to start recovering from long-Covid after the vaccine. My lungs didn't hurt as much, I could sleep more, go on some walks, and brain fog was getting better.
I started dating someone new and was staying up way too late for them, pushing myself to exercise, and also attended a yoga class while working full time. I felt okay for maybe a week or two, and then things went down hill again with fatigue. 10 days later I wind up in urgent care because my throat is so swollen that it's starting to block my airway and I came up positive for Mono.
I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else. It's important to set strong boundaries for yourself, wear masks, and take it easy during recovery!! I definitely wish I would have. We have weakened immune systems and are more susceptible to other diseases, and even contracting Covid again.
TLDR: started to recover, pushed myself too hard, contracted Mono
