A list of puns related to "TAFE South Australia"
Hi guys, I hope there are some Australians here that can help me.
I am interested in studying to become a phlebotomist/pathology collector and the first decision seems to be TAFE or private.
Can anyone tell me what are the differences between studying at TAFE or a private institution for the 'Certificate III in Pathology Collection' in terms of training quality, industry connections, and employment prospects?
Thank you.
Never been a better opportunity for TAFE students to get in.
I've decided that I want to become an electrician and I'm ready to get my cert 2 and stuff but there's 1 thing I'm questioning. How many "eshays" are there at TAFE classes? Sounds like a stupid question and I've never really had a massive problem with them but f*ck they're annoying and I don't really want to work with them for an extended period of time.
I heard that there are a few vacancies in Thornlie campus and I do live near Thornlie However I am studying cert 4 in programming at the Murdoch campus Want more info like about the food, drinks, equipments, environment and people :)

Hello everyone, I have googled and googled and haven't really found the info I was looking for, so here I am! I hope this is in the right place, if not could someone direct me. TIA. Ps. Long post ahead!
So I'm looking at changing careers. I am currently an education assistant and my hours have been cut back this year, so with my spare time decided to study. I recently applied for an education assistant job that was for an alternative education setting for youths 14-19 but wasn't successful as my experience is with primary aged students. Which is fair enough. They did say they have more opportunities coming up in the future so I would like to be ready this time. I have enrolled to do my general education certificate at TAFE as they were looking for someone who had experience with this, which I'm not worried about as I complete the bridging teacher course last year at uni. However another job they offer is a trainer/assessor. Looking at what quals and experience they are looking for the GEC and T&S cert 4 is a must. So my question is. Has anyone studies this at TAFE? What can I except from this course if I feel this is what I would like to do? Anything I should know or consider?
Thanks!
In Australia, so many black women, Indigenous people and people of colour are deprived of skilled hair care. Beauty standards have whitewashed us into believing only straight hair is beautiful.
As of 2017 Australian Census, the combined population of First Nations People, Torres Strait Island Australians, African Australians and Caribbean Australians stands at 1,178,365 across Australia. That is over a million people who do not have easy access to a hairdresser who is well equipped to take care of their hair. It is important for us as an industry to be on the right side of history and make the right changes to accommodate our diverse nation.

As a counterpoint to the negativity in the least favourite suburb thread, let's go for something a bit more positive.
Imagine that you could buy any in any area of the state at no cost, and ongoing costs of housing would be covered by some mysterious benefactor.
Which suburb of Adelaide or area of South Australia would you like to live - and why? Are you happy where you are now, or would you move? Would you want a house in the suburbs, the city, the hills, or the country? Are we talking Unley Park or Mount Gambier? What about both - a city apartment and a country house?
