A list of puns related to "Swimmeret (album)"
The tracking report keeps saying βoh, itβs halfway thereβ
In my experience, most double albums, even the uber-famous ones like Tommy and The Wall, are seen as being overstuffed. Can yβall think of any double albums that arenβt βclassic single album + albumβs worth of fillerβ and are actually really high quality the whole way through?
Any genre of music
My personal pick is Rage against the machine 4 studio albums all packed with jams
For me what comes to mind is The End on My Chemical Romanceβs Black Parade. Also on Fun.βs album Some Nights, Some Nights(intro).
Edit: so so so many good songs, great job everyone!
Edit 2: this is going to make a helluva playlist

So, like most people, I heard Weezer songs growing up, but it wasn't till recently that I truly got into them. Before hearing this album, I had heard four tracks from it. My Name Is Jonas, Buddy Holly, Undone (The Sweater Song), and Say It Ain't So. This album has been considered one of the best to come out in the 1990's (Along with Dookie by Green Day, Tragic Kingdom by No Doubt, and Nevermind by Nirvana, all of which I love and have listened to), and now I know why. Like, holy shit, this album is good. Every song on it is fantastic. Usually when I listen to albums, it takes me multiple listens to know if I like it. This time, that's not the case. Undone (The Sweater Song) is my favorite from the album but as I said, every song on here is great. I'm wondering what the people here think of this album, like, what's your memories associated with it, and what's your personal opinion on it? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
It's been a month now since I rushed out to target to buy Adele's 30 CD with the bonus tracks.
I got home played it once and then played it again the next day... and I haven't played it since. 19,21,25 I have played over and over and over when I got them. 19 was the best of all since it was unique and offered a flavor Adele hasn't returned too. 21 & 25 could have been a double CD on the same album. Same type of songs and themes. They had her biggest hits we all know them. I enjoyed them both but for 6 years of listening to them. 30 should have been an entirely different Adele experience.
It simply wasn't. It was literally just more of the same but not as ground breaking or amazing as the previous two albums were. I don't know maybe the Adele flavored gum in my mouth has lost it's flavor but I haven't had any desire to hear 30 again. It has a few good songs ( I liked about two of them) but nothing I felt I wanted to listen to on repeat like I did the other Albums. Even the bonus tracks that came on my Target CD were kind of so so.
Being an actual fan of Adele this album to me was not worth a 6 year wait. It sounded like something he could have thrown together in a weekend. There was literally no new vibe on this album. Same broken hearted wailing over a piano. Is it really so hard for her to work with producers that make different music? or even other artists? Even a track with Adele and the Weeknd, or Sia or Lady Gaga or anybody else would have blown my mind and given me a break from the same old tired lost my love tracks.
Some new instruments...? Maybe some 808 drums. A Moog, a Prophet 5.... just introduce some new sounds to your music please.
The praise I've seen this album get is a head scratcher for me. This is not a ground breaking album and it's the weakest offering. An album that took 6 years to put out should sound freaking Amazing. Every track should be a hit. This Album just sounds like songs they found under a couch in her mansion. I really really really was hoping this Album would have been where Adele either went back to the 19 mindset and experimented with her voice and music and gave us a fresh new Adele... but it wasn't. It was literally 30 Adele with a Tired and Old sound.
I thought this album would grow on me but I've personally had no desire to even add it to my playlist. I enjoyed "To be Loved". Best song on there imo but again that could have fit right on the sounds from 21 or 30.
I can't be the only one noticing this can
