Got really high the other day and combined my two favourite meals. I present: Cultural Appropriation (Chow Mein flavour Super Noodles, halloumi, unripe avocado, some toast and a lot of hot sauce)
I bought 15 of these. I was super skeptical but was super surprised. Maybe my tolerance went down, idk, but best hot noodles I've ever eaten. My new go to ramen. It's a must try for spicy lovers. I love these! I kind of wish they had 3X spicy haha.
First time making pho, turned out really good however I think I got the wrong noodles at the Asian market, does anyone have any suggestions I feel like the noodles are super important and it definitely through it off for me.
An experimental dish, noodles with a tomato-kidney bean-chili-ginger-mandarin sauce. Turned out better than I dared to expect. Super simple to make.
Ingredients (one serving):
70g (dry weight) of noodles
Half a can of crushed tomatoes
Half a can of kidney beans, rinsed
1 red chilipepper (use only half if you're sensitive to spicy food)
Half a mandarin (save the other half for dessert)
1/2 tsp of ginger paste
1/2 tsp of cumin
A pinch of black pepper
A pinch of salt
1/2 tsp of sugar
Directions:
Chop the chili into pieces.
Heat a frying pan to a low-medium heat.
Add the crushed tomatoes.
Roughly one minute later add the beans and the chili.
Again one minute, add the ginger paste and the sugar, stir so it's even, lower heat a notch.
One minute, add the mandarin slices and rest of the spices, stir even, lower heat to low.
Cook your noodles and voilà, you're done.
Super spicy seafood noodle broth
I like to make this super simple chili vinegar to add to Thai dishes like Tom yam soup or boat noodles. It adds a ton of heat, and the vinegar adds to the already sour Thai flavors. (recipe in comments)

Finally figured out how to make Konjac noodles tasty! Super filling chicken ramen with egg, green onion, miso and sesame for less than 300 cals! Basically wash them well, and fry them in liquid for five minutes. Yum!

my mum made noodles and nobody in my family bothered to eat it, which got her pretty down. Idk maybe it wasn't good enough for everyone's taste? But I got high and the munchies hit me hard and I finished 2 plates stacked to the size of Everest. She's happy now someone enjoys her food and she deserves happiness. Just wanted to share because i thought it was cool.
